Sandarshini Udupi Veg Hotel — Restaurant in Telangana

Its an experience

I am traveling from Hyderabad to Bangalore through IntrCity Smartbus, will travel start i got a message from IntrCity to book the food at coming Pitstop (Sandarshini Udupi veg )through online. So, while going through the menu, there is a interesting item called mini combo(price 126 Rs), i decided to try it . I am writing for the pitstop from one hour to reduce the load on the bladder. The time has come and after refreshment ,went to order Counter at entrance and shown order number, he showed his finger towards the restaurant section and said "Mini Combo and the online order is inside". So I went inside with no delay (Note: i had came to this hotel which is outside or self service one many times and felt like, it is over priced for some items and i am also wished to go to the restaurant before but not happen until now), i showed the otp and sat there, waiting for my order and expecting a combo of rice become the combo is in "Combo and meal section". After 3 mins a waiter is carrying out a plat full of boul, filled with items, and one roti . I ignored it like it won't be mine, but he placed it on my table and said have it sir, i wondered by seeing roti, half mixed Veg, half Dal tadka, Jeera rice and curd rice and thought all this for 126Rs and got subpriced. The Mixed veg is to good with well cooked panner and veg's, Dal tadka is as per the testbook of every house and roti is good maid with whole grain flour i think it is good so i ordered other two but they got buter none for me, i said fine and continued, jeera rice is ok and Finley Curd rice with scaped carret and rosted kaju, it was well finished. Will i went to the billing counter to pay for the buter nun, they said it is included in mine combo. So, conclusion mine is enough for one person and it is value for money...

Had to stop by at the restaurant at 10 45pm on April 19th, 2023. The person at the sales counter was rude to me when I asked why he is not selling Idly when they are available and promoting more costly food items. Due to this I had to buy a more costly food item and which was not good to eat at that late in the night. When I questioned again he said, he didn't know idly was available and returned back my money "saying idly is not available". When I said I would complain to the authorities he said he doesn't care. It's strange that the sales incharge doesn't know what is available and what is not. This restaurant has become more monopolistic since its the only veg restaurant in that area where buses stop for a dinner break. Also, there is no control on the price being charged. Government authorities seem to not care either. There should be more Veg restaurants promoted in that area so that there is a choice available to the passengers instead of falling prey to this kind of behavior and denial of food to passengers. After all, these restaurants are given license to cater to the food needs of...

Worst hotel management, Sandarshini is known for its service but this hotel is the worst. We visited with family and kids enroute in the morning for breakfast and opted for AC dining. The waiter without any hesitation suggested us to go and get the token from the self service counter. They had only one waiter attending guests in big AC section . Kids were hungry. The manager at the reception counter When asked says rudely that he can't help . When asked about supervisor he says he doesn't have his contact and he only gets the salary credited online and has no contact number of his manager. We with the kids had to leave the restaurant without having breakfast because of their behaviour. It's best suited for KSRTC buses to whom they serve what ever they wish and poor passengers have no choice. Better avoid this hotel as the manager is rude. There are much better restaurants nearby serving better food with good service.

It's a shame on Sandarshini team as the person at reception is ruining...
