FRUITANIC — Restaurant in Thane

The service today was absolutely pathetic. We waited 45 minutes for a Garlic Bread and Sandwich, neither of which came till we had to storm out. After 15 minutes of waiting, when we asked the service staff about our Mango Coconut Ice Cream the staffer's question was, "Aapne kisko order diya tha?". After 30 minutes of waiting when we asked the Staff on the billing desk about our delayed order, he said the ovens were busy and he would take another 15 minutes to serve us. 15 minutes later, other tables kept getting Garlic Bread orders, but our order was nowhere in sight. Since our children were hungry and getting cranky we asked the service staff if our garlic bread hadn't been made, could we get French Fries instead. The staffer told us, they had put another customer's fries in the fryer and if any fries would be leftover from that, they will serve that to us. The apathy from the service staff was absolutely horrendous. Eventually, we were served the Mango Coconut Icecream, which was also shoddily put together. Fruitanic is a kind of dessert outlet where you can get a lot of variety of Desserts.

Of course there are some quick bites also available at this outlet like momo, French fries, pizza, pasta, etc.

But most of the people come here for having ice cream sundaes

In the mango season, their coconut mango is the speciality. I also had it but found to be average in the sense that combination of coconut and mango with some nuts was not the wow factor

But their sizzling brownie was just awesome. The texture, taste, etc. was one of the best that I have had in recent past.

There is open sitting available here and coolers placed everywhere. They have to tried to make some photo booths within the space.

There is a small cricket turf with bowling g machine also available here. They have tried to have an offer on Snack of you play cricket but that doesn't seems to be working for now.

Location :

Located near "kolshet creek", on the main road, left side if you come from ghodbunder road / kapurwadi signal.

Ambience : It’s a moving food cart fixed in a location

The whole area is developed from a abandoned shed, they make it more beautiful by separating it into two parts (one is shaded and another is open air) and keeping lots of chairs and tables and inclusion of different play area of kids.

Food Quality & Quantity :

They mostly served of the different snacks and desserts items including some fast food options also (noodles and pastas)

I specially tried there desserts prepared with fruits and served in bucket of coconut. Their mix fruit with ice cream is worth to have it.

From the price point of view, its within the pocket range with respect to its quantity.

Final Verdict :

Its definite try to all whoever loved the deserts or not. Also, they served so many...
