Baap re baap !!!
So we were from kolkata , stayed at Polo towers and had decided to have our dinner . After a while browsing through the net we had two options one was 1&Only and the other one was Aquilaria Clubhouse . As it was to late around 10:30pm we decided to go for Aquilaria , just beside Polo towers . We were not satisfied with their taste and had to return back to grab few nibbles from Polo . The next day we decide to give 1&Only a try . We had our lunch and we were stunned . We had the Mutton biriyani and Lucknowe chicken chaap . That piece of mutton and flavours bursting in my mouth . To be honest I really felt the barrackpur and Kolkata style biriyani flavours reminding of me the heritage flavours . The staffs were really nice and were very polite.
Unlike Aquilaria the food was really pocket friendly and the flavours … Baap re baap was far superior. Didn’t expect that agartala can have such a restaurant. The Chicken Kolhapuri at Aquilaria was ₹520 and here it was just ₹389 . The piece of chicken were dry and here they were juicy and was sufficient for 2 people . We decided to go for dinner as well and had tried their fish and ordered their Malabar fish curry , Pulao and mutton kasha and it’s worth dying for .
Specially there Ice-creams which tasted so creamy and delicious unlike any other icecream . I bet a 1000 bucks on that .
Never Imagined Agartala to have such a gem of a place . Would really love to visit again whenever I’m...

First of all, we reached the cafe at around 6:45. Till 7:05, none of the waiter came to take our order. So, I had to come and ask the owner to send someone to take our order.
We ordered quite simple, easy to prepare cafe food. Cold coffees, sandwiches and 2 mocktails which doesn’t take more than 20-25 minutes to prepare.
We could see food and drinks were being served to other tables who came after us and ordered similar items like cold coffee.
At 7:45 we started enquiring the waiters for our food. But they could not respond properly.
At 8:30, finally they served our drinks and at 8:45, they had the audacity to serve us those burnt sandwiches you see attached in this review
Upon asking the owner(Kanishka), he blatantly said the sandwiches were not burnt. Also, he made sure, the sides which were more burnt were flipped.
He had the guts to keep on ignoring our complaints. He didn’t even take any initiative to replace our food instantly or at least do anything at that moment.
He could have offered to make our drinks which were served complementary, which he obviously didn’t.
When we were there at the cafe, he didn’t say anything because they had other...
A very big ‘NO’ - Full of disappointment. ‼️
We went to celebrate a birthday with high hopes. but it ended up in a pathetic way. Firstly we were asked to wait 15 mints at the main gate as the restaurant was housefull. The actual waiting time went on for almost 45 mints. We were fine with that as it was a saturday night. Then after we entered the restaurant it took 15-20 mints for them to just clean the left overs in that table. We selected few dishes from their menu - not a single iteam was available, instead the waiter and the manager pitched in their favourite items to us. (Oh did i mention the staff took another 15 mints just to come and note down our orders). Although we didnt go with their preferred items we moved on to the main course in which we selected few Bengali delicacies and with no surprise those were also out of stock 😂. They mentioned they only make Bengali delicacies on sunday (dont you think this should be updated in the menu, mr. manager ?). We came out with a lot of disappointment on a birthday eve.
PROs : Visit only if your a fan on interior, aquarium and gold fish 🐠 (interiors are really good and catchy)
CONs : Staff , service , unavailability of items in menu, waiting time , congested place.
Tips : Please treat the normal customers as you treat the...
