Sri Gandhirams — Restaurant in Udumalaippettai

There were many veg hotels but this is one easily accessible once u left bus stand. Even though it's a pure veg restaurant they have many options. we had chapathi,parotta and onion roast.

Two weird things I noticed : I was looking for hot water and asked a server , He responded like the server handling you will get that..

( Am i ordering anything hard, or u don't wanna work for since ur colleague will get tips.. horrible attitude. We gave tips ten rupees coin server said it won't go give me other i smiled and stopped a moment another server calming me for ten mins)

While on a trip from Kerala to Kodaikanal, my friends and I decided to grab breakfast at a random restaurant in Tamil Nadu. Little did we know that this spontaneous decision would lead to an unforgettable experience. Not only was the breakfast delicious and satisfying, but the service we received was beyond exceptional. After leaving the restaurant and traveling for almost an hour, we received a surprising call informing us that my friend had left her wallet behind. It was truly heartwarming to see the honesty and integrity of the staff who went out of their way to track us down and return the wallet. This incident truly restored our faith in humanity. I highly recommend this place not only for its delicious food but also for the trust and care they show towards...

Worst experience! We had breakfast at Gandhirams around 7.30 am. The idly was dry and not hot that early in the morning. The ghee roast had no ghee on it and when we ordered extra ghee separately, the waiter gave us something that tasted like oil but smelled like ghee (Some adulterated ghee possibly). The food tasted bad and was lacking spices. The only taste we could taste was salt. I wouldn’t recommend the place.

And for a person coming from Coimbatore, a relatively busy city than Udumalpet, I feel 100 for a roast with that taste and quality of food...
