Dana Pani Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

I had visited this restaurant continuously for more than a month on a regular basis and one day i had an UPI Problem and I didn't had any cash due to which I couldn't complete the payment and it was late night 11:30 and I also couldn't arrange getting them paid at that hour and when we said that can we pay in the morning since the staff and the owner knew us pretty well but they insisted us paying the amount right there and right now and we had no option and we were told to leave our phone as security so that we can pay them in the morning and get my phone back, you people must be wondering that it must be a really big amount but it was just mere 436 rupees and I couldn't believe my ears after listening to keep the phone as security as I had a good rapport with the restaurant. So i just have to say that I being a regular visitor had to face such humiliation due to a UPI payment failure so it can happen with anyone. And after this incident I will make sure that this was my last visit to...

Because of two reasons I gave 3 star... We were travelling from Delhi to Muzaffarpur along with mother, wife and kids. We stopped here at 11:30 AM. Because of two reasons I gave 3 star... First, the location of washroom. It's outside at the back. The way to it is also not too much easy for senior citizens. Many ups and down ....and the level of hygiene during this pandemic time is too low. The second reason is the time taken to serve the food. You have to wait for 30 minutes if you order two or more than 2 main course along with rice and Naan. It's better one should go for dosa or other fastfood items and should order quickly just after visiting the resturant. However, it's a good property having ample space for car parking. The resturant has been divided into two sections...one may charge more coz it's having better seating arrangements...

Once I tried their Butter Paneer, and it was a betrayal — no real taste, just a sweet gravy pretending to be something it's not. Gave them another chance with Egg Masala — and it was even worse. Just a heavy dump of masala and oil (looks like engine oil), with no balance, no aroma, and again, that weird sweetness in gravy where it doesn’t belong.

There is a limit to how much masala and oil you can throw into a dish. This is not cooking — it’s an insult to the dish.

It’s shocking how such reputed restaurants run only on their name and infrastructure. People eat here out of hunger, not taste. But if you can't deliver even the basic flavor and integrity of a dish, your kitchen has failed.

Never going back. Totally...
