Desi Chaupal.. a pure veg family restaurant — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Good place for a halt while traveling with family. Only one toilet for Ladies and one for gents but those were clean. Good tea served in Kulladh (earthen pot). A nice lawn is being developed and it was good options to sit out in a bright winter afternoon and enjoy the warmth of sun. I took Pyaza pakode and tea. That was great. Lunch should also expected to be good as the appearance of food being served to other fellow travelers were looking like typical dishes of North Indian Dhaba. We didn't took lunch this time. Planned to come back here while returning back from Allahabad. It will be on the right side of the road but I think it is worth for a second visit and there is a cut in the road divider closed...

I recently visited Desi Chaupal and had a pleasant experience overall. The service was attentive and prompt, and the environment was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. However, I found the food to be a bit oily, which was a slight letdown. Despite this, the flavors were authentic and enjoyable. If they could cut down on the oil, it would make the dining experience even better. Overall, it's a good place to enjoy a hearty Indian meal with excellent service and a cozy ambiance. Will definitely visit again and hope for improvements in the food...

Nice place to hangout with friends and family. The place is right on the highway and easily accessible. Ambience is nice with options for families and friends. If you like to maintain privacy then you can choose to have your meal the small huts. You also have option to eat under the sky or can choose to move inside. The taste of food is good and 1 thing which I liked very much was rotis (bread). The tandoori rotis were very soft and were served hot. Service was also awesome.
