This is a vegetarian joint and another addition to the gourmet area of Bareilly, close to D D Puram. This place has inviting décor and enjoyable food. In a short time since their opening they have gathered a good following. Some reviewers 2 weeks ago, that is around their opening, may have felt this place as not worthy of anything, however, we a group of 12 friends enjoyed our evening very well, recently. May be they have learned the tricks of the trade. I had a terrible incident here, I visited the restaurant on 7th March, 2020 around 5pm. I had ordered some items and my bill was Rs. 472. As soon as I got up to leave after paying the bill, 3 waiters came and kept the leather book (which is used to bring the bill) open in front of us. I thought they forgot that I paid the bill, I told them I've paid the bill. To which they shamelessly said that they were asking for a tip. I have never expected this kind of third class behavior at a reputed place like Santa Banta. I request the authorities to teach some basic manners to the waiters and don't appoint anyone illogically. The worst restaurant of my life! I ordered food from Zomato and it took 2 hours for the food to reach my room. My sister kept waiting outside for 45 minutes in this cold weather, that too alone, that too at 11:00 in the night. I ordered food at 9:00 and the food arrived at 11. I will never order food from a restaurant in my life for my sister. I have seen the worst restaurant of my life here. Everything is zero in the name of girl security.
