In 1960, Tom Monaghan and his brother, James, purchased DomiNick's, a small pizza store at 301 West Cross Street in Ypsilanti, Michigan, near Eastern Michigan University. The deal was secured by a $500 down payment, and the brothers borrowed $900 to pay for the store. The brothers planned to split the work hours evenly, but James didn't want to quit his job as a full-time postman to keep up with the demands of the new business. Within eight months, James traded his half of the business to Tom for the Volkswagen Beetle they used for pizza deliveries. By 1965, Tom Monaghan had purchased two additional pizzerias; he now had a total of three locations in the same county. Monaghan wanted the stores to share the same branding, but the original owner forbade him from using the DomiNick's name. One day an employee returned from a pizza delivery and suggested the name Domino's. Monaghan immediately loved the idea and officially renamed the business Domino's Pizza, Inc. in 1965.
The company logo originally had three dots, representing the three stores in 1965. Monaghan planned to add a new dot with the addition of every new store, but this idea quickly faded, as Domino's experienced rapid growth. Domino's Pizza opened its first franchise location in 1967 and by 1978, the company expanded to 200 stores. In 1975, Domino's faced a lawsuit by Amstar Corporation, the maker of Domino Sugar, alleging trademark infringement and unfair competition. On May 2, 1980, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans found in favor of...

28-may-2023 , order number -344 ,
I recently had an absolutely nightmarish experience with Dominos Saharanpur when placing a delivery order. Not only did I encounter rude and unprofessional staff, but to add insult to injury, my order never even arrived. It was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating ordeal.
From the very beginning, the staff's behavior was shockingly rude. When I called to place my order, the person taking my order seemed bothered by my questions and requests. They lacked basic customer service skills and made me feel like a nuisance rather than a valued customer.
The person who answered the phone displayed a complete lack of empathy or concern for the situation. They brushed off my complaints and made no effort to rectify the mistake or offer any kind of compensation. It was a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
The overall experience with Dominoes Saharanpur was a complete disaster. The rude and unprofessional behavior exhibited by both Akash Singh and the staff member on the phone was inexcusable. Not only did I have to endure the disappointment of not receiving my order, but I also had to deal with the disrespectful treatment from the restaurant's representatives.

Read moreDomino's doesn't offer a great delivery experience in our city in terms of food quality. They put toppings as per their mood and not requirement so I have deducted 2 stars from the review. As consumers, we have only one way, to file a complaint with the company which doesn't always work in favour because it isn't convenient doing so with every other order. Moreover, it feels like a task as the store doesn't change their criteria. However, while dining in, it does offer a decent experience. The toppings are as per the requirement and not mood (pun intended). This may be because the customers might end up fighting with them on their face if the toppings...
