Shree Govindan is a well-known restaurant offering delicious food near Orai, located on NH Jhansi to Kanpur/Lucknow. The restaurant is spacious, has ample parking facilities, and features beautifully carved huts that enhance the dining experience.

However, the service tends to be slow. On one occasion, while having lunch in a hut, I noticed two individuals smoking nearby. I informed them about the inconvenience, and they left immediately—possibly they were drivers in a hurry.

Previously, the restaurant had excellent toilet facilities, but during my last visit, I found them in poor condition. Cleanliness is a fundamental requirement for any restaurant, and I hope the management takes this issue seriously and improves the basic amenities for customers.

A good getaway place for the people of Orai. It situated on the Jhansi Kanpur highway. It is clearly visible from the highway. This place has a safe and spacious parking place but it is in open so that might be an issue in summers. You can sit either in open, in open or in huts to enjoy your meal. You can also celebrate small get togethers here. The staff is quiet friendly and the service is a little bit slow. But when it comes to the food, it is quiet average. The prices are reasonable. You don't have any healthy food choices in the menu and this might be the issue if you are a fitness conscious person. The washrooms here are not that clean but usable. I ate here while going from Kapur to Chennai and i loved their food and service i ordered only daal chawal and paneer and they made It veru tasty i ordered daal tadka and plain rice and the cost of both items was not that much its like two people can have perfect luch in 150 rupees and with there is a facility for washroom for both gents and ladies outside the hotel and they provide separate dining facilities outside the restaurant in open are.
