Hotel Dawat — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Well the first impressions of the hotel was great they requested us to please visit available rooms that was a great gesture by reception. But when I checked in my room which was nice and well-cleaned but in the bathroom the shower didn't provide sufficient water. After I called the nearby staff. He seems to mind is own business and doesn't seem interested and says "it is what it is" and leaves without proper checking. Which is not expected with such a high rating hotel. Another thing that disappointed me is that the hotel really has some power-cut issues, Not the lights and fans but the AC. After asking the reception they say, "power back in 5 to 10 minutes" and it's back in mentioning time. But the annoying thing is it's happened multiple Times and the receptionist also chills like it's nothing much, if you consider this hotel is necessary for night staying only and all the room's windows is sealed so you have to choose AC. Another thing in my room TV was not working for some reasons and the another staff member tried his best to assist me but In the end he failed but I really appreciate his work. There are some friendly staff, they really showed you respect. I know the hotel strongly took feedback seriously and I hope they reply back to me but you have to understand the apology is irrelevant when we are already left , instead gave customers proper service when they're present at hotel. My main point is your hotel is very close to the airport gate and most of the customers stay only for night but you still do not satisfy customers. The unusual power cuts, behaviour issues in some of your staff, Tv not working, wifi issues, stuff like that feels annoyed if you only stay at night but payment in full. My friends and I visited Varanasi and had a great time exploring the city. However, our last day was ruined by a terrible experience at Hotel Dawat, which we booked due to its proximity to the airport for our departure.

Unfortunately, the hotel failed to provide a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Here's what went wrong:

No ID check-in process😁🤧. Shower didn't work due to low water pressure and flow. Flush wasn't working properly. Air conditioner didn't work initially, and even when it did, it stopped working after a power outage. Ongoing construction and unfinished building. Room smelled terrible. Room boy seemed uninterested and asked if we needed towels, despite it being a basic amenity. Strict policy of not allowing outside food or even food from their own restaurant to be consumed in the room, forcing us to use their overpriced and underwhelming restaurant. Shockingly, the power plug sparked and smoked when we plugged in our charger, which the staff blamed on being a "duplicate" charger (an Apple product!😄).

To make matters worse, the manager's attitude towards us was extremely terrible and irritating. He was unapologetic, unhelpful, and seemed completely disinterested in resolving our issues.

We canceled our booking through MakeMyTrip customer care, We lost our MacBook 60w charger and felt cheated for paying ₹4000 for a room that was only worth ₹40!!!!🤒.

Avoid Hotel Dawat until they address these serious issues, improve their services, and train their staff (especially the manager) to treat customers...

A Promising Stay Near the Airport

I recently had the pleasure of staying at newly built hotel Dawat situated conveniently close to the airport. Despite ongoing construction work, my experience was largely positive, and I believe this hotel has great potential once fully completed.

The rooms are a highlight, boasting stylish and elegant decor with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The view from my room was particularly delightful, overlooking a well-maintained lawn. There is also ample parking space available, which is a big plus for travelers with their own vehicles.

The ground floor restaurant offers a wide variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, ensuring that there is something for everyone. The food was delicious, making dining a pleasurable experience.

The staff at the hotel were well-behaved and very helpful, contributing significantly to a pleasant stay. However, a touch of added professionalism and a bit of publicity could really elevate the hotel's standing and attract more guests.

One minor suggestion would be to include a refrigerator in the rooms, which would be the icing on the cake for future guests.
