Jain shikanji — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

It is next to impossible to know which is the original Jain Shikanji, but we stopped at one in Meerut, where I love Meerut is engraved below the Jain Shikanji logo. The Shikanji was one to die for. This is coming from a guy who isn't fond of Shikanji. The service was quick and we got our four Shikanjis in 5 minutes. There are food options as well, like Pav Bhaji, Samosa, Kachodi etc and they won't disappoint you as well. I rate them 3 stars.

Overall ok ok. Nice service, however restroom facilities are really poor.

You can't use their wash rooms. There is so much of smell and very dirty. ACs are not effective at all.

A good place to stop for drinks and lunch. Situated on the delhi highway and easily steerable location.

Cater variety of vegetarian only options and prices are a notch above like-variety restaurants

Must try - rava paneer dosa.

Ask for customisations and they'll not disappoint. Usually...

Not at all professional. They treat people like - jitna loot sakte ho loot lo. I am not relating it to the cost but the behavior of the mamager. Incident - I bought extra pav which is mentioned as extra pav 2pcs.-Rs35 And what they did is -they gave my kid 1 pav cut from between and too was stale. Then I thought I should ask manager - Bhaiya do pav 2pcs mentioned hai to 2nd pav bhi do bache ko. Manager saab bole humare yaha 2pcs ka matlab ek pav to kat kar 2pcs se he hota hai. Now can you imagine the level... That is the reason some private dabas are all sitting ideal at the same time on the same highway places like Bikanervala, Midaway cafe - Haldiram, are totally full. NOT RECOMMENDED FROM MY SIDE First they should learn to be honest with customers then try to run shop. I am a resident of uttarakhand and a very frequent traveller on this...

Overhyped now you can say. They have good customer count but hygiene is not maintained here. Everything look so scattered. Team looks super busy. Food is OK OK... and Shikanji is good but nowadays similar taste you can get at many places.

I faced an incident here. I ordered 2 normal Shikanji and 2 Sugar Free Shikanji. When I went to take my order after waiting for around 15 minutes, a huge bunch of shikanji was ready to deliver. He gave me 4 glasses of Shikanji, I said 2 are Sugar free, then he opened 2 Sugar free sachet and pour it 2 of the 4 glasses he gave to me earlier. I said what are you doing man... he just added Sugar free to normal...
