Meatster Cafe and Barbeque — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Yesterday marked my first visit to Meatster. While the ambiance was quite pleasant, the overall experience was disappointing due to extremely poor service.

There appeared to be only one staff member handling both waiting and billing duties. He seemed to have a hearing impairment, as he often failed to respond even after being called multiple times. Additionally, the air conditioning was not functioning, which made the environment uncomfortable.

The food quality was average at best. I ordered a cold coffee, but it was served lukewarm, which was quite disappointing. Furthermore, there was an issue with their online ordering system. I had placed an order for butter chicken and butter naan, but the restaurant did not receive it.

As I was leaving, the waiter requested that I stay and assured me that my order would be ready in five minutes. I decided to wait, but the butter chicken was not up to the mark in terms of taste. Despite the unsatisfactory experience, I was still charged a service fee. When I questioned this, the waiter insisted it was mandatory, as per the owner's instructions.

What a great experience !!!

The theme of this restaurant is quite rustic and catchy. If you are planning for a barbeque party with your family, this is the perfect place to choose for. The Kebabs like Angara, spicy, Malai, hariyali, piri piri are like their specialty & infact all of them which they served us as part of Buffet like Tikka, tandoori chicken and Nuggets were finger licking good. Icing on the cake is their “Table embedded Tandoori Grill box”. Though we had experienced this quite often in Barbeque village and Barbeque Nation in Bangalore and Noida, however this was a perfect immersive experience with a rustic look in Aligarh. We were already full with their Tandoori items and Cold drink, however the Masala Biryani which is also a part of Buffet (per person 449/-) was quite tasty and delicious and value for money. The adjacent badminton court is an add on feature if you are looking for recreation apart from the dinning experience.
