Padmalay Restaurant — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Padmalay!! When it was new it was really good according to Azamgarh city and I guess was the only good restaurant in the city and which is why it had been attracting many people. Later they changed ambience, reduced varieties, changed menu, increased price and made the food tasteless and unavailable so, finally ruined the entire things. Now, I never visit this restaurant so don't know the lastest status but whenever I pass by I do not see the crowd...

One of the oldest and famous sweets shop and restaurant in Azamgarh. Padmalaya chola Bhatura , dahi bara, dosa so famous in local and travellers. . I visit so many times to taste their dahi bara, chola bhatura and Paneer dosa. . . I recently visit padmalaya to taste something new in which I order Paneer pav bhaji which is totally tasteless, its worst pav bhaji...

As you can see my leftover plate, you can get the idea how terrible the food was. Oil was everywhere . Ruined my mood and they call it special thali. Seriously, for 160 ₹ i deserved better. One thing I like that there was a skinny guy working as a waiter, very humble and hardworking these 2 starts goes...
