I rarely review anything, but i write this as i am infuriated. I went to Romeo Lane to celebrate my birthday with my family, we were a big group of elders, youngsters ans kids. I will go point by point The managers allowed group of uncouth boys to enter..although stag entry is not allowed, they were drunk and making videos of us girls, also i observed few boys from their staff (may be) hiding behind the walls and taking videos. After showing concern to manager, he was trying to convince us that it is not a "rule" that stags wont be allowed...anyway after much pursuasion the boys were asked to move. I am disappointed by the misbehaviour of staff.. pathetic people! Despite reserving the place, they gave us the worst seating possible! Lied about other seat which we wanted to be reserved by another bigger group, which never arrived..by the way 2 hrs later, people who came and discussed and took seat there were my friends only who confimed they never booked. When we took that dirty, stinky seat, we asked them to adjust the ac temp, after which ac started leaking, they were rude about the discomfort. We asked to switch on the lights but they denied We finally changed the seats
The waiters after the restaurant got busy, ignored us completely, we had to leave our seats to look for the waiters everytime
We left the place early, as it felt unsafe, we felt not cared for..it ruined my only time with my family member ..Thank you Romeo Lane for ruining the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe experience at this restaurant was terrible and completely ruined the evening, despite how good the food was. I didnāt come here to leave with a massive headacheāI came to have a nice dinner with my family. While the food wasnāt bad, a restaurant isnāt just about food; itās about creating a good experience, and this place failed miserably.
Iāve been to their Delhi branch, which is amazing, but the Meerut one was a nightmare. They had a so-called āSufi night,ā but instead of being enjoyable, it was unbearably loud. The music was blasting so loudly that we had to shout just to talk to each other, and it completely ruined the atmosphere. Music is supposed to enhance the experience, not make it worse.
To make matters worse, I ended up with an ugly migraine by the end of the night. Even after we asked the staff to lower the volume, and they switched off the speakers near us, it didnāt make any difference because the overall noise was still unbearable.
This wasnāt the peaceful evening I was expecting, and it left me completely frustrated. A restaurant should care about the overall experience, not just the food, and they failed to do that here. Iām so disappointed and will never come back to this...
