I visited Swad Grih and tried a few different items – dosa, chowmein, and sandwich. Out of these, the sandwich was good, and the chowmein was okay too. But honestly, the dosa was a complete disappointment. There was no coconut chutney served, which is a must with dosa, and the sambhar was so poorly made that I couldn’t even figure out what it was supposed to be. Eating the dosa completely put me off.

The place itself is spacious with a large seating area, but it’s quite noisy. There’s no air conditioning, only fans, so it can feel uncomfortable, especially during summers. Another issue is the waiting time – after placing the order, you have to wait quite a long while before the food actually arrives.

On the positive side, they do have a very big menu that includes South Indian, North Indian, and even Chinese dishes. The pricing is moderate – not too expensive, not very cheap either. However, if you’re expecting really tasty food, this may not be the right place.

The only shop in deoria for lassi Lassi, gulab jamun and dosa are special here. Paav bhaaji is also a famous here...fantastic dish I have tasted here is paav bhaaji.
