Wahid biryani has evidently spread itself too thin. Like the outlet at Lohia Hospital, this one too is a half hearted chalta hai sort of attempt at running a food joint.

For a chain that takes pride in its biryani, they serve an oily mixture of rice and chicken pieces salvaged from other dishes: mine had one piece from Tandoori chicken! They had, of course, ran out of mutton biryani. I know about Awadhi cooking and I'd say that frankly it's quite easy for any half decent cook to prepare a large batch of Lucknawi biryani, but Wahid 'biryani' manages to botch it up.

They are always short on at least half the items. And on top of it, they'll lie to you to get your business: I was given chicken masala whereas I'd pointedly asked for chicken kaali mirch. When I pointed this out I was told that they add both gravy bases to it for "a better taste". Their galawati kabab is a disgrace. They made me feel that there should be an Awadhi restaurant rating agency to stop such people from besmirching the reputation of Lucknawi hospitality. I'd strongly recommend to give this...

If You are Biryani Lover Try Wahid Biryani in Lucknow with Cash Only no Plastic Money Accepted

I had this biryani 2 days ago as I was very hungry and also a biryani lover. I liked it better than Hyderabadi biryani which had useless Hype in Hyderabad. At least I can count on nahid more than Paradise.

What I did not like is there service, they do not accept Paytm or Card which is very lame in these days where plastic money is in use. They can serve more properly and can charge more because they have huge space ne can go with group of Family or Friends.

So over all taste was good I loved Raita a lot But Biryani was also Good to eat. As I am not saying this is the best Biryani...
