Read moreWhile driving towards Mukteshwar road we stopped at Meraki cafe near lower Peora for snacking. Located on a vibrant picturesque location with a majestic view of himalayas, Café Meraki is one of a kind, a bright and airy space with open air sitting.
It is a contemporary Herbal Tea Cafe. We ordered Coffee and their signature herbal tea made from garden fresh herbs along with Omelette and sandwich, all were delicious. Especially, the Herbal tea was perfect, it had just right amount of sweetness and the blend of herbs. They also served Kumaoni delicacy.
As we entered the cafe the owner Mr. Diwan Matiyani himself offered us a mini tour of their newly built homestay and the organic farm. They grow herbs like thyme, mint, basil, oregano to n number of spices, fresh organic vegetables and fruit plants.
If your are looking for chilled, relaxed time to spend in a homestay with a cafe with good view, Highly recommend. So happy with everything.
Its surely "let's go to chirping tales"...

First impressions, set amidst greenery a welcome since the hills are also burning up this time. A beautiful herb garden welcomes you and mind you it is not only for show, everything is freshly sourced form their own organic farm. Now food and drink and the cheerful welcoming host Pranay and his staff. Best compliments to the chef for dishing out food which satisfied our taste buds and our souls. We were keen for a taste of the local cuisine and he made sure we tasted everything on offer . The bhat ki dal , bhang ki chutney and fresh hot rotis were out of this world. Pizza with basil straight from the garden, mint iced teas and the basil tomato soup deserve a special mention too. All in all, absolutely smashing food and great people 🤗 Thank you Pranay for your efforts 🤗 wish you...
