Chashedi the tea station — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

I can't say about food but the mindset of this place is very disgusting. I had a very bad experience at this place because I asked for washroom for my daughter. The girl on the counter was too rude and insulted me on asking for a washroom. According to her, I should have first ordered something then ask for a washroom. I tried to ignore her several times as I waited outside this outlet(I was waiting for my daughter because the nearby restaurant,being gentle, allowed us to use their washroom), but she kept on poking.. She said people like me should feel awkward while asking for a washroom... I ask you all what is so awkward in approaching a restaurant and asking them to allow us using their washroom... If one is not comfortable in letting their guests to use loo, they can refuse, but, don't have any right to insult anyone on asking for it(that also for a child)... Overall my experience of this place is too bad.. Especially with the girl at the counter.. Don't know whether she is the owner or employee.. I will never revist this place because for me the taste of food only doesn't matter, but also the mindset of the people serving you...

Fried Insect Found in Food – Horrible Experience!

Visited this place today and had one of the worst dining experiences ever. In the chilly potato we ordered, we found a fried insect served with the dish — absolutely shocking and unacceptable.

To make matters worse, the lady in charge didn’t offer a proper apology. Instead, she started scolding the staff in front of us and refused to take full responsibility. She even went so far as to blame the greenery around the restaurant for the insect, rather than acknowledging the clear lapse in hygiene and kitchen standards.

The plates were also not properly cleaned, adding to the poor hygiene. The staff was unresponsive and rude, and despite us politely reporting the issue, they expected us to pay for the rest of the food — which was substandard in quality anyway.

Dirty utensils, unhygienic food, rude staff, and unprofessional management....

The owner of this cafe is a fraud and corrupt, we had booked his homestay last weekend and he tricked us in a very bad way. He posted photos of a beautiful property in air bnb but when we came there we offered different a property which was very old, filthy, suffocated and with no views. We arrived there at 5 pm due to traffic we got stuck and when we reached there we were totally shocked because it happened to us for the first time. Such greedy, dishonest stubborn people. PLZ DO NOT BOOK HIS PROPERTIES FROM ANY WEBSITE or on air bnb
