Title: Food Quality Has Dropped – Needs Serious Attention
I used to be a regular at Corbett Culture when the hotel first opened — visiting 4–5 times a month for dinner. The food and service were good back then. However, one day I made a polite special request to the staff for leg pieces in the chicken dish I ordered (along with several other dishes), and the partner on duty refused, saying it wasn't possible. That moment made me stop visiting, but I let it go.
After a long time, I had to order again recently — mainly because other restaurants were closed. I ordered Half Chicken Curry and specifically mentioned I wanted a mix of pieces (including thighs and wings). Although one leg piece was given, the rest were just chest pieces — no thigh, no wings — and the chicken was badly overcooked.
It’s also clear now that the staff is more focused on promoting drinks and bar service than maintaining food quality. The standard has dropped significantly, and this is disappointing coming from a place I once recommended to others.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and brings back the quality and attention to food that once made this place worth visiting.

Read moreI visited Corbett Cultures yesterday with a friend, and it was an enjoyable experience overall. From the moment we entered, the staff greeted us with warmth and politeness, setting a positive tone for our meal.
We decided to try the Dahi ke Sholey and spaghetti, and I must say, the food did not disappoint! The spaghetti, in particular, was outstanding in flavor and texture.
There was a small hiccup, though—we had ordered non-veg spaghetti, but they accidentally served us the vegetarian version. Mistakes like this can happen in the restaurant industry, so it wasn’t a huge issue for us. What made up for it was the way the staff handled the situation. They immediately apologized and even surprised us with complimentary chicken momo, which absolutely brightened our day.
I’ve seen some reviews mentioning that the prices are slightly on the higher side, but considering the quality and taste, I find them more than justified. Trust me, this versatile range of food is hard to find anywhere else in Kotdwara.
Overall, a big thank you to Corbett Cultures for a delightful experience. You made our day, and we’ll...
Read moreFound this cool new place as we were searching for somewhere to eat while going to our destination- Lansdowne. It looked pretty good from the outside and inside ao I thought might as well try it.
The interior was thoughtfully done and looked airy and calm. We ordered tandoori Chaap as the starter and naan and tandoori roti with paneer lababdar. I thoroughly enjoyed both the meals. Wasn’t expecting much but was surprised!
While on out way back I wanted to go there again as I liked the food that much and this time we ordered Dahi ke Sholay, Malai Kofta and roti/ Lacchaa Paratha. Loved the food this time around as well.
If you are anywhere near the area or passing through there, definitely give it a try. The manager and the staff were very humble and courteous as well!! The owner was there on our second visit and he was very sweet and asked us for our opinion- to which we obviously replied with good reviews. He also mentioned that they were going to open a microbrewery soon on the above floor, so that is something to look for as well :)
Overall pretty happy...
