Hot and Cold — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

Food was just fine but the service was pathetic and the staff is very unprofessional. First of all, there is no space inside and when we got a table, three staff members (cooks and waiter wearing disposable caps) occupied the table one after another while my mother and I were still sitting and having our food. The last staff member sat right next to my mother and made her quite uncomfortable and didn't move an inch even after we asked him to sit somewhere else and tried to convey the same with our body language. YOUR STAFF IS NOT SUPPOSED TO SIT ON THE TABLES MEANT FOR GUESTS SPECIALLY WHEN GUESTS ARE STILL EATING. WHAT KIND OF FOOD SERVICE IS THIS? Even roadside dhaba staff don't sit with guests when a table is occupied, let alone when guests are eating. I can understand that staff needs to rest as well but shouldn't they sit somewhere else? However good your taste may be or however popular you may be among locals, it cannot make up for this unacceptable treatment and you're not allowed to invade someone's personal space. Lack of hospitality in a state which lives on...

Living in this town for 15 years ,I went to hot and cold for the first time just a few days ago to chill out.It has got the best service and beverages.We had the chocolate icecream shake which was just for 55 bucks and that shake made my day ...It was really so delicious and really tasty.Everyone was really polite and staff full of professionalism.Awesome awesome and literally awesome .One should must give it a try...A must to be visited in this town.As compared to rest of the restaurants and cafes out here this has got the best service in the least...

Hot and cold could have been an amazing place for ice cream and cake but really got disappointed with sweets, had two back-to-back incidents in recent time, where found quality of sweets like Patisa and Chocolate was below average... Initially when they started sweet business, I loved the quality, taste and freshness, but now everything has changed, and they lost their reputation and taste completely. Quick suggestion for new buyers or buyers still holds trust, please taste the sweet or buy in small quantity to avoid...
