Punjabi Foods — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

Food is really good but poor customer relationship handling. They messed up the carry out order and when I called them asking why they didnt give me what I asked for, they didn't even apologize and didnt do nothing to rectify or to compensate for it. Next time when I went there, they made me wait for over 30 minutes and kept on saying that your order is coming. It didn't come for another 15 minutes and when it came it wasnt complete. Then they told me that its coming and finally they told me that they dont have it anymore because they burnt it while cooking. Then the person on the counter said he will compensate me by giving something else. I was left with no other choice but to say yes. After giving me my order, he asked me for more money because what he gave me was for 20 rupees more. Not that 20 rupees was a huge amount (definately not when you paid over 800 for your bill), but if you are charging me for it then how are you compensating for something that you screwed up and made me wait for over 40 minutes for a carryout order. owner of the restaurant didn't know the proper way to communicate with its customers. He gave me bill but only when I asked him and that was with charging service of 5%. When I ask him you can't charge me service charge. He said ok then I will charge GST and he said it's same thing. I told him service is yours n gst goes to govt. I told him give me the GST bill. He is di funny he fave me bill and charged me gst with hand made bill n also told me that his business is under composition scheme. I told him that you can't claim GST from customers. But he said he can. I find it so funny. Instead of saying sorry he was making excuses n give me irrelevant/nonsense reason. Funny thing was. Bill amount was 777/- and he asked me 780/- when I asked him in gentle manners that please don't mind but ask the customer exact amount of bill. He said ohh I just rounded off the amount. I recently ordered from Punjabi Foods, hoping to savor the authentic flavors of Punjab. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The name may suggest an understanding of Punjab's culinary delights, but the reality fell far short.

During my last order, I ordered their chicken curry, only to be met with a dish devoid of any discernible flavors. It seemed as though the concept of flavor was lost on them. Disappointed but willing to give them another chance, I recently ordered their dal makhani. To my dismay, it didn't resemble the beloved dish it was supposed to be. It lacked the essence and distinct flavors that make dal makhani so special.

Regrettably, I must describe the overall quality of the food as pathetic. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic Punjabi culinary experience. It's a complete waste of money, and the lack of flavor leaves much to be desired. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve...
