Beautiful location, with the river flowing close by. The sound of the flowing water was mesmerising and calming. Spoiling this atmosphere was the really loud music constantly being played at the cafe. It was totally not in sync with the place, and very disruptive. Indifferent service, with the server acting like it was an effort to take our order. 7 of 10 dishes requested were unavailable - there were zero burgers, zero pasta, zero speciality dishes. Those served were forgettable at best - over salty manchurian, tasteless paneer bhurji and semi cooked rotis. By this point, we knew there was no use bringing this to anyone's notice!! Not sure why this place has such a high rating... Nothing there...

Gipsy cafe is ruling the hearts of people in rishikesh as well as of foreigners who are visiting rishikesh. I visited gipsy few months ago and I had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect with a beautiful view of ganga river. The food is marvelous.. The owners Mr. Dhawal, Vikram singh negi, Mohit and Arjun.. Best people in the world with a polite and helping attitude. They personally take care of every individual guest. You will feel like home. It's my personal favorite cafe and my first choice to visit in rishikesh.. Do visit to have a wonderful experience.. Also you can organise private parties, birthday parties and functions as they have a big area for that.. Love to...
