I’m an avid gourmand and like to explore new restaurants and places. Previously the restaurant was known as Reva and now with the new management the name changed to Casa De Reva with an ambiance and food change. The restaurant is owned and managed by the owner of The Post Office (Vasai) by Mayur and Ashutosh.
First of it’s kind offering Buffet every evening and À la carte. Prices of Buffet are as below👇🏻 Weekday : Veg : 650 | Non Veg : 690 Weekend : Veg : 690 | Non Veg : 790
Big shout for the restaurant as it’s the first of it’s kind in Vasai managed by a woman captain Maria managing the floor, greeting all the guests with a sweet smile, sharing food recommendation and checking on every guests periodically making them comfortable and at ease. Maria was courteous to take us around the restaurant, letting us feel the new ambience and choose the various sitting options from Buffet (sit out area), the Upper Deck, the Terrace sitting or the enclosed Air Condition dining area.
Coming to ambiance, it has a lovely ambiance (added few pictures below) and is pretty much cool with good music. Few of the selfie spots open for guests who like to capture some pretty moments.
Alcoholic and Nonalcoholic drinks available as per menu and is pretty reasonable by cost as compared to any other family restaurants. Was supervised by Narendra and appreciate his attention the whole time.
They offer wide variety of dishes Tandoor, Chinese and Japanese food. Had opted for Veg and Non-veg Buffet and trust me guys they have a huge Buffet spread with ample options. The service was nice and on time.
Coming to food, hmmm....Chicken seemed undercook and pink so was difficult to cut and chew, dim sum and sushi was okay. Chinese soup the veg and non-veg was delicious and the tandoor veg seekh was good.
Rest of the things, the ladies restroom needs attention and timely check with cleaning as it was little filthy.
To end, on a score card based on the food, drinks and ambiance Casa De Reva scores high on Ambiance and Courteous Service with 3.4 out of 5.
A word of caution to the owners, have rated you high on Ambiance and Service. Food quality is what you can work upon and nurture your SERVICE. Wish you all the best and Thanks to Maria and Narendra for all...
Read moreI visited this place yesterday night after almost 15 years & got hit by Nostalgia as this was then known as 'Reva' & was our famous 'Adda' back then during our college days & the following is my unbiased & honest review about this place today :
Location : Before Devtalao, on the main road.
Place : Back then it was only the ground area but now they have reconstructed the place & made use of good space for different sections - The Ground consists of buffet section & the first floor has the AC & Non-AC section.
Ambience : Very Modern, well Lit, Styled like a modern Bar & resto.
Staff : Had booked a table on the call & the staff at the entry guided us throughout the different sections. Being a Sunday, enough no. Of staff were present to cater to our needs & service as well was pretty quick, even though the place was full.
Food & Drinks : Me Being a tetotaller, Not many options of Mocktails were present, although I Loved the Virgin Ginger Mojito as well as the Iced Green Mojito, Food was super delicious, especially the starters.
Music : They need to update their playlist with some more good songs as some songs were being played on repeat, volume was pretty perfect not too loud or deafning to the ears.
Value For Money : This place is a bit on the higher side with regards to cost. Definately a one time visit for the delicious food & quick service. I feel the buffet option would be value for money as starters, mocktails, main course & dessert is served (both veg & non-veg options available)
BitterSweet : There were glasses placed on the table but No one to serve water which I feel is a basic etiquette which seems to be diminishing with the modernization of these so called lavish restaurants. At the end, I asked a waiter for a glass of water & he ignored me as if i might have asked him for a free glass of alcohol. Then I had to ask another waiter again for a glass of water, which was served to me after like 10 mins. Really disappointing ! The new so called business trend of Chipkaving Packaged drinking water needs to be stopped & water should be the first thing to be served to someone arriving at your restaurant. This is the first service etiquette to be followed in the...
Read moreThis was our first visit. The ambience is very cool with light, soothing music.
We had pre booked for their buffet Lunch Brunch. When we reached, we were welcomed by Maria. She took us to our table and also explained us all the options they have in buffet. She was very soft spoken and had a great smile. Also the waiter who helped us in serving the food on our table was great. All the varieties which we asked for, were served timely to us without delay. Even the management was continuously keeping a watch on the tables and the food counters.
They have wide spread options in buffet right from mocktails, soup, starters, chat, salads, main course and desserts.
They serve 2 mocktails which are unlimited. In soup, they had manchow soup - veg and chicken. They had around 5 types of salads. They had around 10 varieties of nonveg starters and 10 varieties of veg starters – chicken tenders, prawns tempura, chicken spring roll, fish teriyaki, honey chilli chicken, garlic chicken, chicken lollipop, Kakori kebab for nonveg and honey chilli babycorn, wantons, methi cheese kebabs , mushrooms to name some. Also they had some varieties from Italian and continental cuisine like Bao, Sushi and Momos in both veg and nonveg and also hummus, pita bread and cheese tarts. They also had a live chat counter. In main course, they had 2 varieties of curries veg and nonveg to have with roti or naan and then rice and noodles with chilli basil sauce and chilli garlic sauce- both veg and nonveg differently. I specially liked the goan fish curry. Their main attraction was live barbeque counter which served barbeque chicken. To end with, they have nearly 5 options in deserts from gulab jamun, ice-cream , Phirni, pastry and mousse.
We tried almost all the varieties and were completely full and heavy to return home. We enjoyed and loved the food. All the varieties were cooked to perfection and were delicious and yummy.
Thanks Casa-de-reva for wonderful arrangement and management of the buffet. You...
