Dhuri Food Plaza & Banquet Hall — Restaurant in Vasai-Virar

Now I'm a teetotaler (someone who has quit boozing), but since my friend is an advanced active boozer, I took him to this place. It's 50 feet outside Vasai Road station (west), so it indicates that the owner could be a powerful guy having contacts with gangsters/politicos. So don't mess around. The place has 3 floors, ground is restaurant, 1st is non-a/c bar where we went. It was very crowded, resembling the nearby railway station (only thing missing was the frequent announcements). I wanted to give my friend the best, so I ordered Budweiser Magnum strong for him. I am told this beer costs somewhere like Rs. 180/- in the wine shops outside, but I was charged Rs. 350/- or something. Never mind. Now, my friend was not the type of guy who would drink till the end of Kalyuga, but a quickie kind of guy, so he gulped down 2 strong beers and I had a milk Shake in less than 20 minutes. You would expect that after spending close to a 1000/- bucks we would atleast get something complementary, Sorry!!! we ordered a small packet of peanuts and we had to pay for it. For God Sake, even the road-side country liquor bars offer a small plate of boiled grams for free, but not this hoity poity place. How would I rate this place? not worth it. Very bad value for money. but good for a quickie after a tiring Mumbai Suburban train journey, if you don't mind the crowds and the stuffy...

Feedback on the venue that was reserved for the engagement on June 5.

Merits

The food counter on Terrance was wonderful. The seating arrangement was great, and there was good management overseeing everything. The food tasted fantastic. The hall's decor was excellent. The fact that we reserved a hall for 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and were given one additional hour is fantastic. Management and staff are coordinating well.

Demerits

The state of the changing room, along with the fan's slow operation, the light was extremely dim , and the malfunctioning door lock, made it exceedingly pitiful. As per my recommendation, kindly install an AC in your changing room. One visitor has experienced numerous issues. The cooling in the hall's AC system was inadequate. The worst thing was that the staff left the ice cream open after 50% of the guests had left. If you reserve the hall, place one person at the food counter to ensure that the correct quantity of dishes are being distributed because they are acting...

💥Visited here with friends. The Ambience of the restaurant is very Good and it's very spacious, perfectly air conditioned. Perfect place to spend with family and friends.

💥I tried many of their dishes, some of them are:

👉Panner Crispy: This paneer dish was in starters and it tasted amazing. Must try this Paneer dish. The quantity was very Good.

👉Veg Spring Roll: I tried it with chutney and it tasted too good. A perfect starter for spicy food lovers.

👉Veg Manchurian Fried Rice: Fried rice came with Manchuria Gravy. The quantity of both rice as well as gravy was good. Rice was fresh and hot and gravy as well.

👉Cheese Garlic Naan: Hot Garlic Naan Loaded with lots of cheese tasted great. I tried it with Paneer Handi. This combination was great.

👉Butterscotch Ice-cream: Tried this Icecream as dessert. It proved to be a perfect dessert. It was very tasty. Served beautifully in a bowl with good quantity of nuts loaded in it.
