The worst experience I had after being a patron for so many years. Shame on Gold Coin staff :Captain Mr Ratnakar Shetty and owner Mr Harish Shetty for not even apologising and only praising their food despite my complaint. If one dish is not cooked right ,learn to take feedback you uneducated morons.We after eating one bite threw away the chicken lollipop as it was bland and dry ,we returned one plate back to Mr Dinesh who picked up the same at 11:45 in the night after multiple calls.The restaurant staff after 7 to 8 calls only refunded for one plate instead of two. No remorse at all ,only attitude ke hamare restaurant se complaint nahin aata hai. I will never visit your restaurant ever and inform my family and friends also ,the least you could do was acknowledge and apologize... Horrible owner and staff cheap mentality...my WhatsApp chat below

Review: A Hidden Gem Near Vasai Road Station A family-friendly oasis amidst the bustling Vasai Road Station

Located conveniently just by Platform No. 7, this newly discovered restobar offered a refreshing escape from the chaotic station environment. The staff's attentiveness was commendable as they guided us towards a more family-friendly section, ensuring a comfortable dining experience.

While the air conditioning could have been slightly adjusted, it was a welcome respite from the humid Mumbai night.

The food was the true star of the evening. The butter chicken and chicken bhuna were both exceptional, with flavors that were rich, complex, and truly satisfying. The accompanying flatbreads, including lachha paratha, roti, kulcha, and cheese naan, were perfectly cooked and complemented the gravies beautifully. Even the youngest member of our family enjoyed the meal, a testament to the restaurant's ability to cater to diverse tastes.

Overall, this hidden gem(not so hidden from travelling population on platform #7) near Vasai Road Station is a must-visit for those seeking a delicious and family-friendly dining experience.

Gold Coin is a place next to my boozing friend's house and since he find it convenient, I took him there. For those of you who have not read my other posts, I am a teetotaler (I do not drink). Somehow managed to rake up a bill of 2500/- to 3000/- everytime. Honestly, I am really having a hard time to find faults with this place. No, I did not sit in the A/C section, but the simple A/C section. But, after the amazing service standards I noticed, I would recommend sitting in the non-ac section and saving money. The staff are absolutely amazing and courteous and remember their regular customers very well and also know how they prefer their pegs. The mocktails that I normally go for are upto 5 star standards (from where I come from). The captains are well-trained and very sweet and friendly to talk to. If you were to get an elderly captain (whose lovely name I don't know yet), then make friends with, he is an absolute gentleman to deal with and knows how to treat his customers very well. Even the food standards, quality and presentation are really upto excellent class. I am granting a 5 star rating for this place and only hope that they get good class customers which...
