I have visited almost all branches of જકા and always delighted with all aspects. Hence, have a diffrent attachment to જ્કા.
However, had a horrible experience on Diwali day and my first visit to this Vasai branch of જકા. I can say team here did not spare anything to make it my family's worst time here. Hope Top Management understands this and takes corrective actions to save this branch of જકા, else it will damage goodwill of brand જકા beyond repair. I will give pointers to look into:
A person is deputed at the entrance itself, who is marketting very agressively for Buffett dinner. જકા don't need such hardselling. Let guest decide what they want to enjoy.
Ambience of Buffett hall is horrible. No adequate space left in layout. Tables nad chairs are like accumulation of left overs. This is not of જકા Standard
Plastic cutlery is offerred, which is horrible for a permanent establishment.
Food placed on Buffett table is not Served, it looks as it's STOCKED. It gets cold as time passed. It's not lit to keep it warm with wax block or electric heaters even.
After such experiences, only a customers haveing care for જકા brand will speak up.
Whereas your Incharge of that Buffett area is only interested in prooving that, Customer is Wrong, who is drawing your attention towards your deficiencies.
He is further justifying that he is giving Best by saying that, till now 80 people had Buffett and No one complained, a group of people gave him silver coin in aperecation as they had good experience and he will show you that silver coin too.
When asked for Person incharge of Whole unit, his reply is "I am incharge of this whole branch"
One Banarasi man came ahead and took over charge of issue and took us out of hotel trying to close the matter. When I asked him contact of Incharge of branch. He said Mr. Thakkar is incharge but did not give number even after repeated request.
People with such attitude will damage the whole Organization. Whereas જકા has a long way to path of growth and We The Customers has to get Delighted experiences from Brand જ્કા.

Read moreI recently had the misfortune of dining at THAKAR's JALARAM KATHIYAWADI HOTEL, and I must say that the experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this place did not live up to the hype at all.
First and foremost, the food was a complete letdown. Regardless of the dish I ordered, everything was excessively sweet. It didn't matter if it was an entree or a dessert; the overwhelming sweetness made it almost inedible. I couldn't believe how off-balanced the flavors were. It was as if they had a sugar obsession and forgot about all other taste elements. Truly disappointing.
Another major issue was the abysmal service. Despite the presence of around 13 staff members in the air-conditioned hall, it seemed like none of them cared about providing decent customer service. Instead of attending to the customers, they were too busy on their phones, engaged in group chats or watching over girls, and making inappropriate comments. It was beyond unprofessional and disrespectful. I couldn't believe how little regard they had for the people who were there to enjoy a meal.
Overall, I have to say that THAKAR's JALARAM KATHIYAWADI HOTEL is a massive disappointment. The food is overly sweet and lacks any balance of flavors, and the service is incredibly slow and disrespectful.
