Chia Verandah — Restaurant in West Bengal

We went to have lunch at chia verandah. The ambiance of the place is amazing. They have an outdoor as well as indoor sitting space. We went to Darjeeling during off season, so probably that’s why the place was very quiet, with a few more guests. The food is amazing. And the service too. We had dinner at chia last night, three of us caught food poisoning, uneasiness the whole night and vomits in the morning. Didn’t expect it from Taj properties restaurants. We booked a buffet meal which was unavailable and they provided alacarte which took good 2.5 hours of ordering and waiting game. The chef met us next day morning with any special requests to cook but we couldn’t eat anything because of stomach ache which has turned into fever...
