চমৎকার। জোমাটোসূত্রে সদ্য আবিষ্কার করলাম এই রেস্তরাঁ। আর হৃদয়পুরনিবাসী আমার অন্নপূর্ণা (বারাসাত) থেকে মিত্র কাফে (বিরাটি) অবধি অভিজ্ঞতা দিয়ে বলতে পারি অন্যদের মোগলাইয়ের সঙ্গে এই দোকানের মোগলাইয়ের তুলনা করা মানে জার্মানির সাত গোলের সামনে ব্রাজিলের এক গোল দাঁড় করানো। যেমন পুরুষ্টু তার গরন, তেমন ভেতর নরম বাইরে কুড়মুড়িয়ে কিস্তিমাৎ। বাদাম ডিম মাংস কিছুতেই কমতি আমি অন্তত পাই নি। স্বাদে আহ্লাদী শুধু নয়, তেল চপচপে উগ্রভাব নেই। আরও বড় কথা, বেশিরভাগ জায়গায় তরকারি স্যালাড দেয় কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মার্কশীটে নম্বর দেওয়ার মতো, 'অতি কার্পণ্য' করে। এরা তরকারি স্যালাড দিয়েছে পরিমাণ মতো। সন্ধ্যে ছ'টায় অর্ডার করেছি এবং স্যালাড তরকারি টাটকা পেয়েছি। আবারও উল্লেখ্য যে বেশিরভাগ জায়গায় তরকারি থেকে উগ্র গন্ধ আর তেল গড়ায় এমন যে তরকারি না রাজনীতিবিদ বোঝা যায় না। এদের একদম সাদামাটা দেখতে তরকারি, বদহজমের আভাষ দেখছি না কিন্তু স্বাদ আছে ষোলো আনা। এইরকম পেট ভরানো মন ভরানো মোগলাই কাছেপিঠে আর কোথাও আমি খাইনি।

অতঃপর আসি ফিশ ফ্রাইতে। ফিশ ফ্রাই বলতে বুঝি কলেজ স্ট্রীটের কাছে 'কালিকা'। আহা! সে নস্ট্যালজিয়ার ধারেকাছে কে আর কবে পৌঁছায়? তাও আজকাল এদিকের বেশিরভাগ নামী দোকানে যা দাম নেয় তা আড়াইশোর আশেপাশে। এরা নব্বই টাকায় যা দিয়েছে তার থেকে আড়াই গুণ ভালো কিন্তু হয় না ঐ ফিশ ফ্রাই। (মিত্র কাফের ফিশ কবিরাজি বাদ দিচ্ছি।) এই বাজারে ৯০ টাকার (জোমাটো রেট) হিসেবে যা ফিশ ফ্রাই খেয়েছি আমার ভালো লেগেছে। আরও আইটেম খাওয়ার আকাঙ্খায় উৎসুক হলাম।

পরিশেষে বলি, এদের প্যাকেজিং প্রয়োজন অনুযায়ী যথেষ্ট ছিল, কিন্তু এই লোগোওয়ালা ব্র্যাণ্ডিংওয়ালা যুগে আপনার কাছে যদি ক্ষিদের চেয়ে প্রেমিকার সমীপে প্রেস্টিজ রক্ষার্থে প্যাকেজিং নামক উপস্থাপনা 'বড় ধর্ম' হয়ে থেকে থাকে তাহলে পিজ্জা হাটে গচ্চা দেওয়া নিশ্চয়ই খাটে। কিন্তু আপনার যদি সত্যিই ক্ষিদে পেয়ে থাকে, প্রেস্টিজ পেয়ে না থাকে, এই লোগো ব্র্যান্ড বিহীন দোকান থেকে একবার মোগলাই খান। আশা করি নিরাশ হবেন না। ❤️

The only restaurant in NBP that still strives to deliver quality food with quality ingredients. There had been many restros that opened in the past but they all shut their doors due to inconsistent food quality and taste. Chop Sticks is a pride of NBP and the owner Abhijit (Tinku) is a genuine person who might lose money but wont compromise on quality and taste. 3 Cheers and Best Wishes for forthcoming days!
