My family has visited 2 times till date. On 1st visit, we had a very good experience, ambience and staff behaviour. On the 2nd visit on 13th August, we had a mixed up experience. The Pros of the visit: Nice Ambience Nice greetings Nice Kid greetings and fun Polite behaviour to the customer The Cons of the visit: Ordered Kung Pao chicken but they came up with BBQ Chicken. The server at first told that is BBQ Chicken later he pressurised to acknowledge us that it is Kung Pao chicken. I have been having Pad Thai for ages in India, US/Europe but they are not at all par with Kung Pao chicken what they served us. I was so happy that I will get Kung Pao chicken near my residence but all hope gone in vain. Likely that evening, due to some miss communication, there were of heated arguments between restaurant staffs and they shouted at each other like anything making like I felt I boarded in local train. Felt NO PEACE Ordered Pad Thai as well. They came up with mixed rice noodles and labelling as Pad Thai. Other outlets in Kolkata doesn't serve like this. Need to check about the cook or restaurant staffs. They should not argue about the same when customer is appealing that this is not Pad Thai and something else. Few Suggestions to the Owner: Please try to build harmony and friendly environment between your staffs. They shouldn’t fight on things and abuse each other. Rebuild your staff's cuisine knowledge so that they confidently answer the queries rather pressurising customer to acknowledge what they are saying For reference, you may visit BBQ Nation salt lake OR send some of your staff to learn...
Read moreLast Saturday we had dinner in this restaurant. This is one of the best restaurants in Kalyani, and if you really want to have some good Chinese food, I would definitely recommend you to go to this restaurant. Although the price is slightly towards the high end side. The food was good and the ambience was especially nice. We had Thai, Munchow and Lemon n Coriander soup. All the soups were tasty and I would recommend the Thai and Lemon and coriander chicken soup. Now, coming to the starters , the crispy chilli mushroom was worth trying, the amount of pork in the Pork Bao was too small (won't recommend, though the taste was good) and Drums of heaven (would recommend). In the main course, we had Schezwan Hakka noodles and Wok tossed hakka noodles (the taste of both the noodles was kind of average, but the amount of vegetables present in the noddles were less), devil's pork (spiciness is towards the high end side), Chicken and mushroom braised in the clay pot (recommend) and vegetables in Schezwan sauce. The behaviour of the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall the experience was good and would recommend others to go and have some Chinese food. Also, we didn't try...
