I have been waiting for a long time to visit this place since it was opened. Gone through many blogs on different platforms stating that this is bad than the other three.
Now coming to my experience, it was quite good in perspective of the ambience, seating arrangements, food, interior, exterior.
Coming to my food experience, we ordered Cold Coffee, infusion, Fish finger, Fish Kabiraji, Baked fish, French fries and caramel custard.
Cold coffee to me is the worst I have ever had in my life, it was neither cold nor it was thick. It was on a bitter side and diluted, taste is something if you pour excess water on a glass of a coffee. It was really pathetic to drink, feels like you are drinking complain. A single cold coffee will cost you ₹90 which is absolutely not justified. I can surely assure you will get much better coffee outside of the premises( street stalls in front of the coffee house)
Infusion which is basically black, they just put a fancy name to it. But it was much more better than the cold coffee. I would rather suggest it's better to take hot drinks rather than going to the cold one. The price is also kept very nominal( ₹30).
French fries is exceptionally good and the quantity is also sufficient for 3 persons. The potato was so crispy and well fried. They usually served with kasundi, mayonnaise and ketchup which added more taste to it
Fish Finger was too good and the outer part was well cooked as well as the fish.
Fish Kabiraji was quite big, would easily be sufficient for 2 people with a single piece. I really liked it.
Baked fish is the one which I liked most. It was so juicy and full of cream outside that made my day. Served with baked vegetables, bread and Mayonnaise.
Finally caramel custard was quite good and cold than their so called cold coffee. It was well garnished with melons, pudina leaf, apples and pomegranate. Taste really good in the desert section.
What I liked about this place: The ambience with soft music in the background The paintings and graffiti inside the coffee house. Lighting, small library, cleanliness and serving face. Food was quite good, please dont take the view of the blogger. Trust me it is good except the cold coffee.
The staff behaviour was also good.
Toilets are very clean.
What I don't liked about this place:
Firstly the location is quite odd, you won't hardly get any transportation facility after 8pm.
Timings are only 1 hour 30 mins for eating, before that you need to book your ticket from bookmyshow app.
Cold coffee needs to be better when you are taking ₹90.
Outside of the premises there is plenty of space for car parking and it's free.
Please note inside of the premises smoking is strictly prohibited. Don't mess with the older ones.
Mango lassi is currently not available along with prawn items.
Best time to visit:
4pm onwards( Monday closed)
Must try: Infusion Fish finger Fish Kabiraji Baked fish Hakka Chowmein Sandwich Chicken Afghani French fries Caramel Custard.

This modern coffee house with extraordinary ambience not only gives you the vibe and delicious food but also will share some of the culture of Kolkata. They have a huge dining hall on the ground floor and on the first floor there is another dining hall with balcony view. High ceiling with lots of seating, its a Neo-Vernacular architecture which is same as that of the Indian Coffee House. While going to the fist floor you will find various photography depicting the rich yet simple culture of the people of Kolkata. Bengalis love fish and fried items. And this coffee house serves those delicious dishes. For example, Fish kabiraji (a very commonly ordered dish), various types of omlette, egg sandwich and many more item. Service is one of a kind. The service provided here combined with the ambience will kind of give a royal feeling to you. The uniform of the staffs dates back to old British colonial period. Now lest talk about the food. We went there for brunch and tried Chicken omelette, egg sandwich, baked fish, grilled chicken, black coffee, caramel custard and mango lassi to end it with sweetness. Honestly, egg sandwich was a classic with combined flavor of mayo sauce and a little bit of mustard in it. It was served with potato chips as a side dish. I love to eat it with black coffee. Baked fish was creamy-delicious and potato chips with different green veggies were served as a side dish. I think the fish was a bhekti fish. Having sweet mango lassi and rich caramel flavor of the custard was the best way to end the brunch. Overall it was a well...
