First Things first….The aesthetics were awesome. Looked promising from outside. The management was efficient and articulate . The manager was an amiable guy with a welcoming approach and a smiling face. The food was excellent for a highway dhaba…. It tasted great and quality was at par with restaurants from Park Street. They have well maintained and clean restrooms for those..in need😌. Outside the restaurant there is an area where they sell all kinds of exotic and delicious chocolates..Even found a Toblerone there… Finally they also have ice creams for those sweet sweet cravings. Though we visited during lunch. But I think they have something special during the evening…. I would recommend this place to any hungry wanderlust on this...

We have been to this place 7 times in last 2 months, the food is definitely good. Idly fry has been a must for us on all visits and will probably continue to be so. Apart from that Pav Bhaji has been my 8yr old sons fav, recently he ordered cheese onion masala dosa and loved that too. We tried paneer cheese combo and that was delicious too. Yes it's bit overpriced but looking at the location, the clean kitchen, ambiance and lack of competition for these guys, it works for them. My disappointment, the tea or coffee I tried were not sizzling hot. Don't get me wrong the beverages were hot, but I like them sizzling hot just out of the oven. And this place is purely vegetarian, so no meat...

The Dosa Haat in Burdwan is a really good place to dine. The food served here is fairly okay, but if you are purely dosa (south Indian food fan) then you might not be fully satisfied. We went out for dinner with our teammates. We order Hakka Noodles, Manchurian, Mysore Dosa, and Pav Bhaji. Out of all this, Pav Bhaji tasted amazing. Whereas, Mysore dosa didn't prove itself. Later we ordered, cheese dosa, which was good but the amount of cheese they put, it will overtake the taste of dosa. Overall, it's good place to visit if you are vegan considering the other veg restaurants. Thanks! Just one more thing, Dosa Haat is little bit over-priced considering the amount of...

Visited Dosa Haat for breakfast and it turned out to be a mistake. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, so I finished a full plate of chole bhature thinking I had a good start to the day. But only after completing the food did I notice dirty spots at the corners of the plate — clearly unwashed and unhygienic. That was shocking and disgusting. I instantly regretted eating there. Looking at my plate, I decided never to visit this place again. The owner seriously needs to be more vigilant. No matter how good the food tastes, it means nothing if basic hygiene is ignored. *If you value cleanliness, stay away.*

At Shaktigarh next to lancha station sweet shop on the way from Durgapur to Kolkata (left flank of the highway). Neat and clean. One of the best place for stopover for snacks and quick bite. You will get authentic South Indians dishes, pasta. Must try their aromatic filter coffee. We had pasta, pao bhaji and sada Vada. All tasted good. The chutneys and sambhar were prepared with great care and tasted authentic. The owner is always around and ensure guests are taken care. They have another outlet at Asansol. We halted here during evening halt enroute to Kolkata. Parking available for both two and four wheelers.
