Food Heaven Hotel & Restaurant Chunakhali — Restaurant in West Bengal

Hello, I visited this restaurant more than enough times to rate it according to my experience here. I use a method of rating viz 'Service, Ambiance, Food Experience and value for Money or SAFE-M in short'. This method is not a standard or equivalent to any standard. This rating is completely dependent on my experience here.

Rating is done out of 10 stars

Service: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐⭐ (4/10) -Quick Service. But sometimes it is too quick that the dish is partially cooked. -Attendants here don't understand the difference between "just doing the job" vs. "providing services". They just do whatever they were told to do in a robotic manner, doesn't serve the customer according to the customer's needs.

Ambiance: ⭐⭐ (2/10) -No AC -Open sitting area with plastic furniture. -No washroom. -No privacy. -No dedicated kitchen area, cook the food as a streed vendor does. -Not even a basin to wash hands.

Food: ⭐ ⭐ (2/10) -Good and exciting menu. -Food items are not cooked properly. -Taste is not consistent.

Experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐(5/10) -The owners are mannered but on the contrary staff are not so much.

value for Money: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (8/10) -Most of the items are cheaper than the standard average price of the Berhampore area.

SAFE-M RATING: 21/50 (42%)

Q:Will I recommend it..?? A: No.

Q: Will I visit it again...?? A: Only if I don't have any other option.

Conclusion Food is not at all up to the mark and way behind the typical nearby market standard and price point. I gave them a visit a few days back and ordered cutlet and lemon chicken. The cutlet was raw in the middle and crispy hard on the outside; and the lemon chicken was nearly burnt outside (literally it was brown) and completely raw inside (as raw as we could clearly make out the red veins in the muscles).

Not only this time, earlier I ordered momos, and they were completely cold... On asking the staff about the situation he replied "দাদা আপনি একটু আগেই চলে এসেছেন মোমো গুলোর আর একটু সময় লাগতো শিদ্য হতে" then why did you...

Tried their Chicken Biriyani,plenty of rice with fine steamed aloo and adequate sized egg,just the chicken should have been a little more tender,otherwise no scope of complaint! Staff behaviour and service is praiseworthy, Will rate the food...
