The ambiance gets a solid 3 out of 5 stars. You can definitely feel the echoes of its past popularity, and it has a certain character, though it could use a refresh to truly shine. It's comfortable enough, but not particularly remarkable.

A very good place to have a decent Bengali food on the highway. It's a bit expensive as their restaurant is completely air-conditioned. But the fact is that they serve fresh fish and their normalized "bhaat-daal-aloo bhaja-posto bora" is what you should give a hit. Try their fish recipes only after asking them which is fresh.
