Visited it at around 11.30 PM at night and let me tell you, the ambience and the decorations at night is a MUST to experience. Plenty of place to park the car, and there are staff to open the door for you and guide the parking. The infrastructure and the architecture is Chinese, and it fits perfectly with the surrounding dark of the night, not to mention the night sky is decorated with beautiful dreamy lazer lightings too. The making of the restaurant is ancient Chinese, that gives you a feel of a lifetime. It has options to dine at the floor or the 1st floor which is air conditioned. However, a normal person from a middle, or a lower class family might find it a bit expensive, not too much, which, in my opinion, is justified considering the comfort, the surroundings and the luxury. The price of a water bottle is 38 rupees which is pretty overpriced as well, though one may choose to have water for free, which is also available. The restaurant is pretty big and it has plenty of place to explore. It has the feature of reservations along with a special candle light dinner with your loved one. There are different sections where you could dine in with your family, your friends, or your better half and have a great time. The food has a specific taste, which is different from the other restaurants as Kitchen Sutra has it's signature touchings in it's food which makes it hella DELICIOUS. Furthermore, there is a section in the property of the restaurant where there are props arranged for clicking pictures, which is an awesome thing in itself. There are 3 to 4 hanging chairs, two small wooden horses for kids and a mini hand rikshaw which serves as a ride for kids as well as a prop to click pictures. Music is played all over the restaurant and a T.V is installed in the air conditioned floor, which enhances one's experience along with the comfort of the polite staff who are always at service. There is a balcony below the air conditioned floor which gives you a breathtaking feeling along with the great architecture, which is also a good place to click photos. One more good feature of Kitchen Sutra is that there are many women waitresses working along with the male waiters even at midnight, which in itself is an evolutionary thing to have as an example for people coming from abroad. I wrote a review to enable y'all to understand the main experience of Kitchen Sutra, and I hope it provides with enough information to guide and help...
Read moreI usually don’t write long reviews, but my experience at Kitchen Suthra was so disappointing that I feel people deserve to know the truth before wasting their money here. From the moment I entered, everything looked good from the outside — fancy name, decent décor, and a menu that looked promising — but once the food arrived, everything went downhill.
The dishes were absolutely tasteless, oily, and felt like they were made without any care or attention. I tried multiple items hoping at least one would be decent, but none of them were even close to average. The texture, aroma, and flavor were all off. It honestly felt like the food had been sitting around for a long time and just reheated before serving. For a restaurant that charges such high prices, the quality was shockingly low.
The presentation was poor, the portions were small, and the service staff seemed totally uninterested in customer satisfaction. Even after mentioning that the food didn’t taste right, there was no proper response or apology — just blank looks and excuses. For the price they charge, I expected professionalism and some basic standards, but sadly, this place doesn’t deliver either.
Another big disappointment is how misleading the online reputation is. After my visit, I went through the reviews again and now it’s obvious that most of the high ratings seem fake or manipulated. There is no way a restaurant serving such substandard food can honestly earn so many positive reviews. It feels like they care more about creating fake online hype than actually improving their food and service quality.
In my opinion, Kitchen Suthra survives purely on marketing, not on genuine customer satisfaction. The taste is below average, hygiene is questionable, and the price is unreasonably high. You’ll end up spending a lot of money and walking out hungry and frustrated. There are so many better restaurants nearby where you’ll get much better food, service, and value for your money.
To sum up — I would never recommend Kitchen Suthra to anyone. It’s overpriced, overrated, and completely fails to meet even basic expectations. If you’re reading this before visiting, please take my advice and skip this place. It’s simply not worth your time, money,...
Read moreA must visit place. Recommended to visit in evening to enjoy the ambience which is awesome. I strongly recommend to visit this place on weekdays as weekends will be crowded and the experience will change. This is not Durga Puja pandal hopping, lesser the crowd better the experience. Staff will be able to do justice to their job and believe me they are cool. Right from the beginning where we parked our car the security personnel were well behaved. We were guided by a staff who guided us to the AC area at the first floor. Understand that it is only for families and couples and they charge 20% extra compared to the Non AC area in ground floor, but it's worth it. We were a large team of 10 people, so we ordered different types of food based on the preferences of individuals as someone like Chinese or some prefer North indian. Few recommended dishes which we want to share are Bhatti da murg (nice soft buttery), murg reshmi kabab (super tender and tasty), fish china town (try it to know it), gucchi keema mutton (too good), paneer butter masala (paneer taste is just wow though I am not a paneer lover because they use their own dairy products from their organic farm), chicken tikka butter masala (it's different from other places). The staff were recommending desi chicken and mutton which is from their own farm. Service was super fast, we ordered in phases because of the large group and they served great food very fast I should mention. I will definitely visit again as we love to eat outside and we found a place away from city crowd. Moreover for us visiting this place from dankuni is much easier then going to kolkata. It's a smooth long drive on the Delhi road. Again the key is VISIT THIS PLACE ON WEEKDAYS PREFERABLY SO THAT YOU ENJOY THE AMBIENCE AT PEACE, LET THE STAFF GET TO SERVE YOU BETTER. I will not say the price is too high because of the experience and some food comes directly from their farm, if you opt for Non AC on a winter evening you save the 20% and it will be a...
