This place is situated at Habra municipality road. Ambiance of this place is nice. There is a separate zone for personal celebration for birthday/anniversary or any other special events. You can book that separately for 50-60 guests.
Now coming to the main point, food. Have visited this place 3-4 times and the experience is more or less same for all these times. Taste of food is not good at all. This time we ordered -
Chicken sweet corn soup (tasted nice)
Pan fried momo ( too much oily)
Dry chili chicken ( too much salty and oily)
Mixed fried rice (rarely you can find chicken, prawns even egg in it)
Hot garlic chicken ( never seen red gravy in garlic chicken in other restaurants)
Chicken Hakka noodles (tasteless)
Chinese chop suey chicken ( found 2-3 pieces of chicken in the whole plate which were too small to notice. And chop suey means deep fried crispy noodles with some vegetable, chicken gravy. But they served some kind of red gravy with some noodles in it. Noodles were not fried at all. Now the gravy in chinese chop suey should be whitish in colour, don't know how did they come up with all red gravy. Taste was totally awful)
We also ordered paneer butter masala and tandoori roti, but they said paneer was out of stock 30 minutes after taking order. (We ordered at 8.15 pm that is not that late for dinner I guess).
Lastly the service - was too slow to wait for that much time for that kind of food. Every table had same problems. People were waiting for long and getting problematic foods (someones mutton was not cooked properly, someones food was salty) .
Overall experience is so...
Read moreI visited Dragon Chinese Restaurant a few months ago and was impressed by its offerings.
Location: 4/5
The location is good, but the approach to the hotel is not well-marked.
Ambiance: 5/5
The restaurant has a spacious area with huge chairs and tables, ideal for large events like weddings, seminars, and birthday parties. The upper floor section is dedicated to such events. Decoration, maintenance, and lighting are exceptional.
Pricing: 4/5
Prices are slightly high, with GST applied. It's a family restaurant with a wide variety of food options, including dishes from different states.
Food: 4.5/5
The food is delicious, with a range of options to try.
Sanitation: 5/5
The restaurant has excellent sanitary standards, with well-maintained and clean bathrooms.
Overall Experience:
The only drawback is the unimpressive exterior, which doesn't reflect the restaurant's quality. I suggest the owner improve the outside appearance to match the...
Read moreThe food quality is awesome. If there us any chowmin(noodles) fan here, I highly recommend to try out the Mixed Chowm8n. Theybare large in portion, easily sufficient for two people in one full plate. The soups and other items are also very well prepared and well cooked. Biriyani is also available here but haven't tasted it personally but heard good words about it. The onlybthing you might be a bit concerned about is the hygene as this might not be up to the mark for thosewho are cleanliness freak. But if you don't like it, you can always ask the waiter and they would again clean it for you. AC and Non AC seating both available and price is less for non ac seating. Food quality is awesome, but my special tip would be that do not visit this place during any high peak occasion like durga puja or something like that. The place is small and you will have to wait a...
