Priyanka Kundu Cakes & Classes — Restaurant in West Bengal

We have ordered a cake from priyanka after seeing so many positive review from google. The design was exactly same what we have order so there is no question about her talent and artistic view however cake taste was not upto expectations and moreover she has lack of professionalism and i want to highlight the point below.

This cake was ordered almost one month ago and we paid 50% amount 22 days before the delivery as per the agreement but before the delivery day i got shocked that client has to book his or her own cab and she will send the cake in the cab but no one will come with the cake so it is totally in driver’s hand how the driver drive the car and once the cake handed to the driver there is no responsibility of the seller if the client is getting the cake or not . So after paying 100% of amount there is a chance cake can be missed , cake can be damaged. And i have to track the uber just leaving my special occasion and if cake got missed i have to call uber/ola support . When i asked why you are not sending someone with the cake ? Her answer was like why i will bother with your 3500 rupee cake , i am getting order 15 k 20k rupee cake and i don't have time .so there is only priority for high status profile ordered. So it is like you are going to buy a fish and the fish owner will give good fish when you buy hilsa only or you are going to order some good mutton biryani from arsalan / Aminia and you paid 100% and then restaurant owner is saying you have to book a cab to get your own order and if by chance the biryani damaged i will not take responsibility.

She was arguing me like i have filled a form where it is written no one will come to your house to deliver the order but there is mentioned like you have to book cab but nowhere it was mentioned that if someone will come with the cake or not , and why someone should read such kind of form to buy a cake? Is it some lic policy or i am getting onboarded to a company so that i have to read the disclaimer?

I have to go via ola to pick the cake which lost my time and extra 700 rupee up-down. She might be masterchef winner or semifinalist but my experience Was...

We received a beautiful customized birthday cake from her yesterday for my son's birthday. It was a gym theme cake with dark chocolate and roasted walnut. The attention to details was phenomenal. The cake came in a gorgeous magic box with lots of chocolates. The layers of the cake were discreet even after cutting the cake. It had sufficient amount of roasted walnut. The white chocolate layer was made with lot of finesse. We also received delicious Cookies with Triple Chocolate Chunks. The cookies were freshly baked and crunchy and came in beautiful boxes with fairy lights. We also received customized cupcakes with white chocolate frosting with strawberry compote. The cupcakes were very professionally made with logos of exotic car brands.

The special part about the order was that we never felt that it came from a bakery, it felt more like it came from a family member. Each item has been made with lots of love, care and honesty. She even delivered the entire order in person and even wished my son on his birthday. We could understand that she spent quite generously and probably would have spent more than what she charged.

As being the owner of Tandoori Hut Catering, one of the biggest Catering services in Madhyamgram and Kolkata, I have met many celebrated bakers in Kolkata but Ms. Kundu is definitely special...

A monster BIG THANK YOU Priyanka for all you did yesterday. My God! Where do I start – everyone raved the delicious customized cake, cupcakes, and were amazed at how beautifully everything was done. The attention to detail, the colors, the flavors where the dark chocolate met roasted almond and the white chocolate frosting with strawberry compote plus those triple chocolate chunk boxes, the special magic box for my chocolate-connoisseur and oh did I forget the beautiful white bouquet 😍all of it were just fab. I could not be thankful and happier with what you did. The cake was very pretty and obviously a lot of craft had gone into it making those cupcakes. The price definitely way below what equivalent bakeries would have charged. I truly appreciate your willingness to help on such short notice. Extremely touched by your kindness and willingness to go the extra mile and your patience dealing with the numerous changes, the multiple calls and the last minute add-ons, just hats off - you did it all with a smile and love in your heart just like a family – everything was perfect.
