Raj Cabin — Restaurant in West Bengal

Yesterday, Me and Two Friends of Mine were visited "Raj Cabin" for having our Lunch. Overall Experience Was so Bad and I Must Say that it was far from my satisfying. From Start to finish, the entire visit left me thoroughly disappointed and regretful.

First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, paying little attention to the needs of the customers. Our server took forever to bring the menus, and when we finally managed to place our order, it took an eternity for the food to arrive at our table. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was evident throughout the evening.

Moving on to the food itself, I found it to be underwhelming and subpar. We order Fish Fingers as a Starter. The fish finger dish left much to be desired. It was a disappointment from start to finish. The fish fingers themselves were greasy and lacked the crispy coating that is expected. The fish inside was undercooked and dry, resulting in a tough and flavorless bite. The portion size was also underwhelming, leaving me feeling unsatisfied. As a Result, we called the Waiter and Told him that the fish Fingers are undercooked and the the fish inside the fish finger is not fresh. But he constantly argued with us that the fish is fresh and the food is ok. Even He is reacting like that we don't ever had Vetki Fish. He justifying that the rotten smell is the actual smell of "Vetki Mach" and we don't ever eat Vetki Fish.

Behaviour of the Service personnel was very rude. Then we ask him to call the manager. After some time, He comes with a man (may be he is Head Cook or anything else) who is not at all the manager. He forced us to belived that the person is manager. He behaves as same as the waiter did. He is also argued and told the fish is fresh. Both of us were tempted and ask them to take the fish, we will not have the starter and serve the Main Food.

Moreover, the prices were unjustifiably high considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. I expected a certain level of excellence for the amount I paid, but what I received fell far short of even average expectations. It felt like a complete waste of my hard-earned money.

The overall behavior was rude. Food quality was bad. that I will not recommend anyone to visit...

Raj Cabin is good for only Biriyani, and other fast food like Dosa, Cutlets, Baby corn etc.

Recently I visited there and ordered Fried Rice, Garlic chicken, Chicken 65 as a main course item.

It was a complete waste of money. They don't know how to cook Chicken 65 or even Garlic Chicken gravy.

The cote of the chicken was uncooked. And the Chicken 65 gravy was garnished with Black Mustered Seed.

The taste was awful.

I won't recommend to have main courses other than Biriyani

And the service is also very poor.

They force us to sit in a claustrophobic area with damp walls when there were other open areas to sit on. Literally they lied to us that we can't sit outside where other people have been seen to be seated.

Not only with us, after one hour a couple of boys came and said the same thing.

Chicken biriyani and chicken chap was horrible.

The chicken in the chicken chaap was smelly. The spices are not properly proportionate. I barely finished it.

Biriyani aloo was hard from inside and biriyani was way too much oily. There was not even an aroma of a biriyani. And after all that joke of a food, only the biriyani chicken was acceptable.

Well there's something good in everything right?...The quantity was massive...at first couldn't even believe that its "half" biriyani. Its more than enough for one person. The size of the chicken in biriyani and chaap was pretty big too. And the ambience, its good. Couple friendly.

-1/5 for chaap 1/5 for chicken biriyani 1/5 for quantity 1/5 for the ambience, presentation, etiquette...all those ethical stuff.
