Regent Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in West Bengal

Went to this place with my family, they couldn't get me a place first and somehow they got a table near the toilet with unbelievable number of mosquitoes at the table. I asked the staffs there, can we get another table, they said it's impossible that their are mosquitoes inside the restaurant. I asked him to come with me inside, but he resisted. No one even bothered to even try to help.

That's not the end of the story, we ordered the starters and it took them 45 minutes to get it, while we were dealing with the mosquitoes. I kept my calm, and then called another waiter to order the main course, he denied to get one item and said it will take a lot of time, better you go with something else, I agreed and asked for the menu, he came back and said you can order that item. And the end result was it took more than 45 minutes to come to the table.

At the end of the dinner when I asked for the bill, the guy didn't want to leave after he got the bill ( with an expression, you should give me some tips). Are you serious?

I will never recommend to go to this place where all the staffs are so unprofessional and careless, don't waste your money at this place. Search for a better place to eat where you can enjoy...

On 13th August I went to there with my friends and family. My expectations was so high that I will get best service overthere ?

I was wrong totally. I was disappointed . The service was horrible , staff's attitude was horrible, for one folk i was waiting 15 mints, I felt I was a begger over there asking for one folk, for dinner we order some food and the plates they serve was unexpected, one dinner plate, one quater plate , two half plate different plates for everyone, food taste was ok.

At the ends when we requested them to provide some fingerbowl that was another horrible experience . We were four they serve 3 and after begging them 10 mints later they serve the fingerbowl to me . I used my brother finger bowl .

I was happy when manager called me and take the feed back.

Kindly attend your customers properly. Just try to understand what they want from you guys. We just need your good service.

I am sharing this feedback as a hotiler. I worked in hotel industry. One suggestion for you guys. Take care of your guests with beautiful smile.

Since last 4 years visiting this place during Shahsthi of Durga Puja with friends for dinner. We don’t expect best services and best quality of food but we prefer the ambience. service and food quality was more than okay during the previous years compared to this year. they lacked the both. Food quality has seriously deteriorated. Only tandoor items were good. Waiting time for Repeating drinks was almost 20/25 minutes. It can be compensated if the service was good but it wasn’t. Behaviour of the waiter was rude. The waiter asked for tips directly when we pay the bill online. He directly asked to leave those who denied to pay tips. Overall this year’s experience is not at all good.
