In one word.... Amazing. Litti is made from healthy whole wheat flour in a ball like structure and seasonings and spices within. This is free from any colour or preservatives. The kitchen prepares the item on grill dry without oil. After that it is dipped in ghee or clarified butter which is considered one of the super foods and served hot along with mashed potatoes with spices and pickle. This is a must try dish. Along with that the other item is hot kesri jalebi, a sweet dish which is full of saffron. This is amazing too. We have two litties and one jalebi at 50 rupees which is on a steeper side but considering the taste it's no problem. Only downside is the location is dusty with no proper sitting arrangement. Otherwise it's highly...

This shop is a hidden gem for those who love authentic Bihari cuisine, but getting there can be a bit tricky. Located near the end of the service road, you need to exit GT Road near Diamond Cranes and skip the flyover entirely to find it. The effort to locate it is well worth it, though, as the food is excellent. The litti chokha, in particular, is a standout, with the perfect balance of spices and a homely, authentic taste.

Be prepared for long queues, though, as this spot is quite popular despite its modest appearance. The seating is basic, so don’t expect a premium dining experience, but if you’re there for the food, it’s a great find. All in all, a satisfying meal for anyone looking to enjoy traditional flavors at an...

The litti chokha is decent. They charge 40/- for two piece (dry) and 60/- for two (soaked in ghee) in morning hours. The morning litti is essentially a flat bread, so if one desires the traditional ones, an evening visit is more meaningful. 😎

Jalebi is another popular option here. I didn't find rabri available.

They are not trained professionals but they are not harsh in dealing with customers either. 😊

The ambience and hygiene of course has a lot to ask for. It right on highway so hygiene is definitely out the window. It's a roadside 'tapri' so take away area or seating area all looks shabby. The place itself is designed like a vat. 😒

Ample parking space, but the space gets muddy in the rain.

Good place for...

Taste of the food is so delicious😋 Most recommended try it!! It's one of the famous shop in the locality. We from Durgapur bring and taste litti chokha from here. It's little overhyped but yes their service is good, and quality is ok but little overpriced. Plain litti chokha will cost you ₹30, Ghee little chokha will cost you ₹50, Jalebi will cost you ₹25 per piece which I really consider too much over priced, rabdi type ₹50. You have to pay for coupon then you will get the litti. For location, it's just beside nh2 road. Online UPI payment is available. Best place to dig in if you want to taste bihar’s famous litti chokha in Raniganj, they provide 2 types of chutney with litti and chokha which makes the litti more delicious.

If you are at Asansol- Raniganj belt then having a go at "Litti Chokha" is a standard protocol! What say Asansolians?? <3 Location: G.T Road, Bansra More, Raniganj, A Huge crowd throng this "Litti" / tea shop at evening. One can see large number of cars parked near this shop. The shop has a tremendous sale of "Litti". "Littis" dipped in desi ghee along with "chokha", "bharta" and "achaar" forms a lip smacking irresistible combination! :P <3 The next to Litti shop is a nice Tea stall those who have tried Litti must have tasted the Tea of that stall...😍
