Spicy — Restaurant in West Bengal

SPICY is my favorite restaurant so far. I have been to many restaurants in Kolkata and outside of Kolkata but SPICY seems a real GEM near me. Its great option as It just need 2 minutes of walk from my house. Lets come to food quality and other features in detailed. To be very honest, I am a huge fan of Lachha Paratha of Arsalan. When I taste the Spicy's Laccha Paratha near about more than 10 years ago, I became huge fan! Most vital point is, food quality remains same! It never gets changed at all. I usually order Laccha Patha, Rumali Roti with Dry Chilli Chiken and Chicken Manchurian. I never found Chicken Manchurian like Spicy's at all. If you are a Chowmin Lover, then definitely taste it. All the different Chowmin is good and I especially fan of Swezuan Chicken Chowmin with Dry Chilli Chiken. Momo and Fried Momo is also good. I am great fan of Chicken Bharta as well. What a lovely taste! Now Come to Roll items. Egg roll and favorite for local people and chiken roll as well. But if you are a roll lover, then must try Paneer Roll and Chicken Tikia Roll definitely. Tikia gravy is also a favorite item for me. If you are a Kabab lover, then try Chicken Chatpata item. Lovely taste!! I heard that Kabab rice sale like a hot cake! I never tried but Surajit Da ( Owner ) insisted me so many times. But I didn't tired yet but definitely would love to try out this item soon. My son tried the Biriyani item and he confirms that its good one! Don't expect much when you prefer Biriyani. As you all know its a special item and not all Chef can make Biriyani a good one!

Others, From last point of Belgharia platform no 1 it takes 10 mnts walking or take a toto for 10 Rs. Atmosphere: 👉Small old Resturant Looks conjusted from outside. Ac, Non-Ac both available but area is very small. 17-19 max 21 people can seat inside ac. No Tax service. Food quantity is high, shareable, taste is moderate as the cook was changed recently. Price is reasonable. Egg Chiken chowmin and Chiken Roll highly recommend. In mix rice/noodles prawn size is too small to see so avoid those dishes. Bulk order and Pre booking for small event are available there. Food delivery available there by contacting their number. Delivery charges starts from 30/40, increases depending how far the address is from resturant. Outside drinks not allowed. The place is always crowded so dine in or delivery both take time. Edit: 12/10/2022: With great regret I am downgrading my ratings from 5* to 1*. There was a time when Spicy had a class. Its owner Mr. Surajit Saha used to personally keep an eye on the kitchen. But now the food quality and service has dropped to the bottom. I have been observing this downfall for more than a year. But my recent experience made me revise my rating.

I ordered a chicken butter masala with four rumali roti at 7:30 pm and asked them to deliver at 9:00 pm. From 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm I reminded them at least four times. But they kept lying about the order status. Finally the order was delivered cold after 10 pm. And what they served as chicken butther masala is the worst chicken I have eaten in many years.
