Extremely Disappointed – A Letdown from My Go-To Restaurant

I’m a regular customer and have always trusted this restaurant for consistent taste and quality, which makes today’s experience all the more shocking. I had personally called the restaurant thrice before placing my home delivery order, specifically requesting them to prepare the food well as I had special guests over.

Despite my repeated request, the food delivered was utterly tasteless. The biryani, which is usually one of their best dishes, was a complete disaster—no masala, no flavor, no leg pieces (even though I had selected a special item from their menu). It tasted like plain rice soaked in Gulab Jal and Kewra essence—honestly, it felt more like a poorly made sweet dish than a savory Indian main course.

I didn’t want to embarrass my guests, but it was obvious from their barely touched plates that something was wrong. After they left, I tasted the food myself and couldn’t eat beyond a single bite—it was that bad. The biryani was puckish and unappetizing, and left me feeling uneasy.

I called the restaurant immediately after to report this, not because I wanted compensation, but because I genuinely felt betrayed by a place I had so much faith in. I have never had such an awful experience before.

This meal has left a bad taste—literally and emotionally, and I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this seriously. You’ve built a reputation, don’t let it...

We are very glad that we have choosed TFP Foodplex Bonhooghly for our 1st Marriage Anniversary Party Location. They have done a splendid job managing the occasion, for foods no words to explain how delicious it was. Enjoyed the day with family and friends. The hospitality that they brought was lovely. I am looking forward to have our next ocassion here. Not only aboutparty ocassions but couple of times I went with my family for ala-cart-e as well, foods are really nice and tasty with good quantity and quality. I would recommend to all to come to TFP Foodplex Bonhooghly and you will not be delighted to have to food and spent the time gere with nice lake view ambiance at the roof top resturant.
