Mandar Cafe & Resort — Restaurant in Ambon

Hello, this is Don Chane of SV Windswept. We are on a circumnavigation of the planet and after 4 years we have now pulled into Ambon and into the upper harbor. We found the owner "Marwau" and his daughter very very helpful. Not only was the food perfect... but, Marwau organized a trip for us to the local supermarket for provisioning and also organized diesel fuel for our sailboat. I recommend that any boat that pulls into the Ambon upper harbor to visit not only the resturant but seek the help of Marwau for his kind services. I see in the future that this family run business will be a staple for all cruising boats that visit the upper harbor of Ambon. Mandar Cafe and Resort is a new hang out place locate in Poka District. They served beverage like coffee and juice, simple food like noodle, fried rice, as well as snack like fried Casava and sukun. Kekurangannya : Toiletnya jorok, gak dijaga kebersihannya..☹️ (Hari ini ke cafe mandar lagi..aduuuh kenapa toiletnya tambah kotor..banyak semut pula ..😌..) Tolong benar² di perhatikan supaya toilet selalu bersih, minimal ditaro satu penjaga krn jarak ke toilet agak jauh..jd sepertinya hrs khusus hire karyawan utk area toilet..

View dari cafe ini cakeeep banget.. Tempatnya juga cozy...cafe paling cantik di Ambon sih menurutku..

Makanan : paket ikan sama nasinya murah hanya 50rban dan ikannya ukuran lumayan loh, bukan yg ukuran kecil banget. Abis makan lanjut ngopi & snup snup (pisang goreng). Betah banget ngopi² di cafe ini.. Tadinya mau bawa mama kesini, cuman gak wheelchair friendly krn kudu turun tangga..
