Café Sukka Baturiti — Restaurant in Bali

I recently visited this indie cafe in Baturiti, Bali and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The cafe had a cozy and relaxed ambiance, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly.

We've been coming here since it opened and it is consistently good. It would be great if they could just stop the wierd little habits that chefs seem to have. For example, the delicious pisang goreng is often ruined with over zelous toppings. And then whe you order the option for topping of brown sugar, it comes with condensed milk. The waitress said it was honey. But i didnt order honey or condensed milk. I ordered brown sugar. Which it also came sprinkled with. So honey + brown sugar???? When i pointed this out the waitress said it was part of the order of brown sugar. This makes no sense whatsoever, and is indicative of the odd behaviour of the chef and staff...

Worst food I have ever had in my life. I would not even call it food what we got served here. We had a sharing platter and everything was just sad and artifical factory produced garbage. The chicken was not even properly cooked. We also had some garlic bread which was stale, dry and tasteless. My partner had a pizza which looked like it was one of those microwavable pizza's from the supermarket. Honestly McDonald's is a five star restaurant compared to this. Even the staff seemed uninterested to be there and were behind the bar on their phones constantly. We left not eating most of the 'food' as we were afraid...
