Things to improve: Food and drink quality is not worth the price. For example the breakfast portion of the focaccia with salmon was tiny and tasted bland but costs 100,000 Rupiah. Coffee is so weak it’s like water. Had to buy an extra shot just to drink it. Service charge and taxes should be included in prices rather than added on later. Customers seeing the service charge added after poor service will make us less likely to return! On the last visit the server was not courteous (had to find her at the bar to order) and she gave us a hard time about 500 rupees (equivalent to 0.03 US cents)— Literally repeating over and over again that we must still pay in cash and couldn’t switch to card because of the we were short 500 rupees of cash. So Pretty silly after we bought multiple $10 beers. This is also ridiculous as usually the total is just rounded up or down with much concern at everywhere else I’ve done business...

Would not recommend staying in the villas. Rooms were dirty (cobwebs with dead flies) and very uncomfortable (bed squeezed to fit into the shipping container of a room, hard mattress bad for side sleepers). The seating is all in plunged pits in the ground, where dirt and bugs collect. The air conditioning unit is right above the head of the bed so the air and sound is right on your head as you try to sleep. Rooms were also not very soundproofed to the noise outside (bugs, geckos, road, morning prayers, others in the shared villa, music from other villas) and loud inside too (from the A/C unit and the bathroom is also not soundproofed). Feels unfinished. Giving it 1 star because the power went out at midnight, cutting off the A/C and running water (including the bum gun) and while they turned it back on in the morning, they didn't offer any sort of apology, compensation or anything for a night of horrid, sweaty, sleep. really amazing view, perfect for sunset spot and away from the busy road. but food was really terrible. ordered octopus and spaghetti which i think you cant go wrong with that. but what i got was pretty bad.

food was cold. the octopus a bit chewy and the sauce is way too sweet, that sauce and octopus just really not good together. the flavor just didnt work. (idk whats in the chef’s mind when they made it. it was literally taste bad. if the chef think its good, then they basically have a bad taste). and the spaghetti taste like they use instant sauce. well idk, that was my first time cant even eat spaghetti. this picture is how i left my spaghetti. still that much, cause i cant really enjoy it. well honestly, you cant really go wrong with spaghetti but idk what they did till the spaghetti can be this bad.

i’ll come back cause the view is amazing here. but definitely not gonna order food. just have drink like coconut / coke /...
