Views were great. Food was hit and miss. Got the buttermilk pancakes, they were burnt on the bottom as well as being very dense, not like buttermilk pancakes at all. Similar to a stale muffin. The lack of condiments on top made it hard to finish it as they were very dry. Need to note asked for coconut yoghurt and fruit and got jam and almonds instead. Tried the waffles from here also, they were also burnt on the bottom. Tried dinner here, asked for chicken wings and instead got skewers, which was fine, but when the wings finally came out there was next to no meat on it, it was more batter/crumb than anything. I would say if you are going to try this restaurant, do stick to Indonesian food as everything that was traditional, was cooked well, everything outside of that wasn’t great. I would have given 3 stars but the customer service was also hit and miss. Like mentioned, some of the orders were wrong and on top of that, at dinner, there wasn’t much attention paid to the customers. I understand it wasn’t busy, so the wait staff would talk to each other, but at times it would take ages to get anyone’s attention. A customer next to us had to call out 4 times before she was taken notice of. All in all, for the price, expected it to be a little better overall considering the service charge (tip) is included in the total bill. Makes you think if that’s why the service lacked.
*Note, we did try a lot of the Indonesian food and it was good, I just think if you have something on the menu (Indonesian or not), you should be able to...

The cozy setting immediately put us at ease, blending effortlessly with the surroundings. Oh, the view! One of the best I have ever seen, a mesmerizing vista we could gaze at for hours. Our table provided a stunning view of the local valley – a nature masterpiece of hills and jungle.
Inside, vibrant hues and lush foliage really complemented the surrounding nature, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. The restaurant's ambiance perfectly balanced vibrancy and tranquility, capturing Bali's essence beautifully.
The menu was a treasure trove of options, offering a delightful variety of healthy and fresh European dishes that all looked and tasted amazing. My boyfriend couldn't resist the waffles and croque madame, I had a delicious matcha smoothie bowl and pancakes (we where very hungry). Each bite was a burst of flavor that indulged our senses - a testament to the remarkable skill of Senja's chefs.

The food here is genuinely delicious. The mie goreng was flavorful and well-cooked, with a good balance of spice and texture. Another standout was the passion fruit cheesecake—refreshing, not too sweet, and a great way to end the meal. The menu offers a nice mix of local and Western dishes, with something for most tastes.
One of the small but charming touches is the presence of a few friendly cats around the restaurant. They add to the relaxed vibe without being intrusive. The staff are friendly and the service is smooth, making for a comfortable dining experience overall.
