Vanbenk Coffee & Eatery — Restaurant in Bali

Lots of room for improvement! We needed a quick stop enroute to next destination.. the place was empty....it has a bell that rings every time a waiter passes the sensor near the door....then we were given a sheet to tick our food choice....we had to pay upfront..my crispy mushroom dish had lots of batter with tiny bits of mushrooms....one of the staff took photos of me without my permission...then on departure..three staff surrounded us asking us to scan and give them 5 star google review ! ......

Owner..it is definitely your cafe! My suggestion is fix...

We were the only guests in the restaurant. And were filmed by the staff the whole time. While ordering and while we were being served, all without permission. When we asked what it was for, we didn't get a clear answer in English. We don't expect there to be any bad intentions behind it, but it would be polite to ask permission first.

The food didn't taste great, but it didn't cost much either. You can go here for a nasi goreng. Don’t choose the toast...

This is literally the best hangout spot in this town, it's ashame that it's always empty when I visit it.

The foods good, as well as the wait time. The service is alright considering it's usually empty.

But, the best part out of this is it's atmosphere.. You ain't gonna find any eatery in Klungkung that'll feel like this. This place reminds me of those eateries you'd see...
