Waroeng Orange — Restaurant in Bali

Please don't eat here. Horrible service and I feel like that was because we are Australian. Took ages for them to take just our drinks order. Once they brought our drinks they walked off and were not interested in taking our food order. We tried to get their attention but they were to busy looking elsewhere and talking between themselves. We were the ONLY ones in there. One table of people walked in and walked out and didn't order. As a group of 7 we used two tables. Adults on one, kids on the other. The alcohol drink was served to the kids. All the food was given to the kids and they had to pass it to us. The Indian onion dish was cold like it had sat there waiting to be served. We heard the cook hit the bell once and no one went up so maybe it had been there since the bell was rung 10 mins before our food was brought out. No one asked if we wanted another drink. We had to go and ask them, then they only brought out one of the 2 drinks. They didn't take the empty glasses away when the new drinks were brought out. My cocktail didn't taste like it had any alcohol in it. It was nice but nothing special for a cocktail. The hygiene was really bad and I nearly walked out before our food came. Saw a waitress walk out of the toilet and not wash her hands. If we didn't have hungry kids I would of walked. Saw one server in the kitchen eating with his hand and licking his fingers. The toilet was clean but stunk. The food was average. Butter chicken was good. Small servings and my daughter is currently ordering food to be delivered. She doesn't normally eat much but was left hungry still. I felt like the wait staff didn't want us there. They were not happy people. The chef smiled at me when he stuck his head out. Hospitality nya tidak bagus, buruk sekali. Sepertinya para waitress nya udh orang kaya smua, ga perlu kerja lagi. Kita mengalami pengalaman tidak ramah saat makan sore hari tadi. Tidak senyum sama sekali, kita udh ramah sapa dn senyum. Tetap aja jutek, lalu saat taking order, ditnya apa yg rekomendasi ga ngasih tau apapun, malah makin aneh raut wajahnya nya. Dan berbicara bahasa Bali, seakan kmi tdk tau bahasa Bali, (ngatain org meja sebelah pakek bhasa Bali) kok aneh ya, kerja di pariwisata tdi etika nya ga ada. Selaku kmi jg pernah kerja di hospitality, kmi paham betul bagaimana memperlakukan tamu, baik itu tamu luar Indonesia ataupun sesama Indonesia. Dan kmi memang tdk begitu byk pesan makanan, tpi apa pantas kita memperlakukan tamu seperti itu? Lokal maupun Bule, sama sama BAYAR kali!! Ga mngkin mau makan tapi ga punya UANG. Untuk makanan yg kmi pesan yaitu Nasi Biryani, saat makanan dtg tdk sesuai dgn Nasi Biryani yg kmi tau, krna biasnya nasi dn ayamnya di pisah, ini malah udah kyk nasi goreng di campur dn di suir ayamnya. Dan ransya ga enak sama sekali, kmi tau makanan India kaya akan rempah, tpi ga "medok" Gitu jg bumbunya. Makanan kmi habis kan bukan karna enak, tpi kmi sadar begitu byk org di luar sana yg kdg belom bisa makan. Intinyaa kmi menghargai suatu makanan. Salah satu karywan yg handle kmi namanya Mbok Winda, dn karywan yg bawakan menu ke meja kmi, (kmi lupa nama Mbok tersebut) SANGAT TIDAK BAGUS ETIKANYA👎👎👎. Waroeng Orange kalau mau maju, tlong karyawan nya di ganti aja, biar punya attitude yg lebih bagus, yg sore tdi itu spertinya ga bisa bersyukur orang2nya, udh org kaya semua. Kita ga akan Rekomendasikan makan di Waroeng Orange ke saudara ataupun teman, krna pelayanan karywan nya sangat buruk!!! Sekian...

Big place and complete. Very strategic location that you can see right next to the entrance. They have a souvenir shop. They sell ice cream and soft drinks outside near the road. They have indonesian and indian food. The food is delicious and affordable compared to other restaurants around tanah lot.
