Mie Razali — Restaurant in Banda Aceh

So far the best Mie Rebus Kepiting (crab), or the only place restaurant that have kepiting could serve. Because actually as I was in Banda Aceh, I've been expecting to taste the most famous, Mie Aceh with Kepiting. And this restaurant, Mie Razali, finally made my dream come true. And the result turned out to be perfect as well. They used exact the whole crab, except for the crab shell (they might not have the habit to taste it in the local context). And what surprised me the most in the freshness of the crab. I believe the crab before it place on the pan, it was still alive and that's the most important thing of all. Fresh! They also offered tools to crack the crab, but I was not really used to it and it turned out to be a messy. I am more used to the one that they help crack in advance. Someone recommend me and my friend to go to this place. And what dissapointment. The place is small and when we came, somehow it smells bad. The table was still cluttered with leftover dishes and plates from customers before us and not being cleared quickly. And the floor is dirty and some trashes, possibly from customers before us, are not being cleaned as well.

Now, come the food. It takes more than an hour for our food to come out, and despite the fact that I do like the taste and a rather generous amount of topping (I order Mie Aceh Campur), the portion of noodle feels small for its price. Also, no price on the menu, so I didn't know the food I ordered was on the expensive side (70k).

Overall, not recommended. There are better places to enjoy Mie Aceh, and unfortunately, I personally think...

A must try if you at Banda Aceh

It was memorrable taste, didn’t have much expectation before coz reading some review stated that the taste not nice as usual.. But it turn out amazing! I ordered mie tumis daging, it’s not dry, a bit watery. The noodles itself has a great texture, guess they made it themself. The soup has curry taste and other herbs i dont know what, but it’s not heavy like too much, it just right for me. Even my husband regreted that he didn’t order it..
