Previously, this restaurant would have gotten solid 5 stars from me. Unfortunately, they started skimping on their offerings (偷工减料). My favorite was the boneless short ribs. At Rp79k/100g, it was very reasonable. And the meat was well-marbled. But for the last couple of months, they did a 2 skimp combo -- they raised the price to Rp109k/100g and they apparently also dropped the meat grade from USDA Prime to USDA choice (this is admitted by the lady behind the raw meat counter and the meat is drastically less marbled. I would know because I frequent the steakhouse often enough for several months before the meat was downgraded that the waiters recognize me, perhaps they even remember my name). The steak was also much more fatty (intermuscular fat not intramuscular fat [marbling]). Just drastically lower quality overall).
The salmon wasn't spared from the skimping move either. Previously, it was better quality steak-worthy salmon but now they don't even bother to pick the good salmon out for display and customer visibility. They just ask us to grab any one from the chest freezer for them to cook. Unfortunately, the ones in the freezer are of lower quality, and unsuitable for steak because they have bones in them.
But on a positive note, I do love their hash browns, their potato gratin, truffle capellini and the seasonings they put on the steak (I was really quite in love with the steak seasonings but I wouldn't be back before they start bringing quality meat back as offerings).
Update 10/2/2023: it seems now they reduced the price of the short ribs a little to 98.000/100g. They also have better quality salmon. BUT WHY OH WHY did you get rid of the truffle capellini and the hash brown? And your 5 pack beef cheese sausage has a very strong chlorine taste. Feels like drinking a tablespoon of chemically treated swimming pool water with every bite. And if you burp, you can taste the chlorine evaporating out of your tummy. And they won't admit it! They say it is the cheese, there's no chlorine. Well, try it if you don't believe me and my wife's taste buds. So, no extra...
Read moreI’m deeply disappointed with my recent experience at this restaurant. My family and I came to celebrate my mother’s birthday, but the moment was ruined. Just as we were blowing out the candles and taking pictures with the birthday cake, one of the staff interrupted us. Instead of respecting the special moment, the staff offered to combine tables, saying the food wouldn’t fit on just one table. This completely disrupted the celebration—we were literally holding the cake with candles lit, posing for photos.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the only issue. Throughout our meal, the restaurant played a playlist full of inappropriate songs with vulgar and offensive lyrics. It wasn’t just one or two songs—it was the entire playlist. The atmosphere was very uncomfortable, and we couldn't enjoy our time together as a family.
I strongly suggest that the restaurant consider playing more appropriate background music—something more relaxing like jazz or calming tunes would be more fitting for a dining environment. As a regular customer, I feel truly disappointed by...
Read moreIf you go for a good steak, this is definitely one of the place. Choose your meat in the store before going to the restaurant. Wide range of imported meat from Aussie, US, Wagyu mb4 to mb8-9, japanese wagyu and fishes. They do have sausages too. If you are into pasta or burgers they also have it for you.
I ordered wagyu tenderloin mb7, cook to perfection into medium. Along with tomato salsa cilantro sauce, broccoli and cheese plus potato wedges… what a good combination melt in your mouth.
The restaurant is not too busy, so this would be a good place to bring work acquaintances for meeting and serve them a good meal.
Very friendly for disables or elderly as they have elevator directly to the resto from the basement.
All in all, nice place, decent, clean, good steak! Definitely I will come back for more
Sorry for no pictures, I was too excited to eat the food and enjoying very much. I only realized when everything has...
