Island Restaurant — Restaurant in Bangka-Belitung Islands

The whole menu needs to be reworked.

For a 5 star hotel the food is not on the same level at all.

First of all if you serve, remember who ordered what and put in on the spot and not somewhere on the table.

Secondly if items are not available let the customer know beforehand.

Thirdly, taste the seasoning of the food before you serve it. Nasi Goreng Bundut was very salty. The Sate Adam was a disgrace. Bland and not well charged at all.

And last but not least, please improve the quality of your breakfast buffet. Even in the old Novotel in Bangka is was better.

As all restaurants are far away your customers are dependent on your restaurant.

Came from other hotel to dine here because our other hotel restaurant was not up to standard. So glad we did, the hotel ground and the service are top notch and well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and professional. Our server at the restaurant was so attentive and kept checking on us. (Sorry couldn’t remember his name.) We had local food for dinner, they were well presented and very tasty. Prices are reasonable too. We were so thankful for the staff that went out of their way to arrange transport for us to return to our hotel. Definitely will choose to stay at The Sheraton Belitung on my next visit...

What a fantastic location. We came for a drink and a snack after a trip with our driver. We arrived and were welcomed very friendly also we did not book to sleep. We were dropped off with a electric car at the sea restaurant. Each ordered a cocktail with 1 snack and 1 meal. The calamari outside crispy but the fish was a bit tough. The wagyu steak looked good, but a lot of fat. The cocktail was good. Very friendly staff. I have no idea about the rooms or the breakfast, but to relax enjoy this place is recommended.

Wat een fantastische locatie. Wij kwamen om een drankje en een hapje na een trip met onze chauffeur. We kwamen aan en werden heel vriendelijk onthaald ook hebben we niet geboekt om te slapen. We werden afgezet aan het zeerestaurant met een elektrische golfkar. Elk een coctail besteld met 1 snack en 1 maaltijd. De calamaris buitenkant krokant maar de vis was wat taai. De wagyu steak zag er goed uit, maar veel vet. De coctail was goed. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Ik heb geen idee hoe de kamers of het ontbijt is, maar om u relax te genieten is deze plaats...
